Depends upon age.

If they're very young, why bother telling them anything, whether it be hetero or homo sexuality?

Let them just be kids for fucks sake.

Discussion earlier this morning how childhood is more stressful than ever: why then introduce yet something else to confuse young uns that don't yet have the understanding of sexuality?

At a young age you aren't telling them about sexuality. You're explaining that its ok for two men to love each other or a man and a woman or two women or whatever. Why? Because they see kids with two dads or two mums and therefore it means they understand the world better.

There's more and more bummers having kids now to the point where it's not particularly unusual. There's also a 9 year old lad in yoof's class who wears a dress because he thinks he's a girl. The world has changed a lot over the last few years so I reckon education needs to too. 

I doubt kids are being taught bumming techniques, but more likely they're being taught why some kids have two mums or two dads and that it's okay.
