  • Don’t think ever felt as proud to be a Bolton fan. 2 kids, the wife, peteski and my old man kicking and heading every ball at the end like it was the World Cup final.  We are in it together

  • Our lot gutted, but well done your kids - showed a lot of heart (and got stuck in). Good luck for the rest of the season.

Ok

how about this

Club says “£24 or we have to liquidate”

what do you do?

Remember that some Twatter morons reckon liquidation could be the best thing that could happen to the club...

Only thing I'd question is why we can't be buying online from now

Also are we looking to prevent Coventry buying home tickets?

Can only assume it was too late a call to get it set up in time (and might have taken some negotiations with Ticketmaster and/or card processing companies)

See mcginlay has said it’s a PR disaster

Was expecting aload jubilation of the match going ahead.

instead a ton of people complaining about having to pay £24 to watch kids.

after the positivity and effort shown on Saturday that’s a fucking bargain.

Much rather see a kid put the effort in than buckley fall over and Donaldson pointing.

Ok then not a bargain. A fucking bargain.

To be fair, it is. Rightly or wrongly.

Anyway, I'll be buying mine tomorrow.

They aren’t going to say that though are they. I’m not sure what point you are making, other than a thinly veiled super fan post😂

And what makes you think more are going to attend at £24 than £15, its a piss take and they can get to fuck.

Its like your your favourite pub closing because no one wants to buy beer they have never heard of or are likely to get at inflated prices. Someone at the club needs to have a word with whoever has decided this as its just another nail in the coffin and proves that they dont car about the fans as its all about keeping the EFL happy by playing the game.

Website nailed on to crash , Coventry fans can only buy off our site as well. An initial allocation of 1,900 has been given to City fans on the lower tier.

It’s a Massive massive mistake.

Whatever you thoughts on people put off by a few extra quid aside, it’s still massive mistake not to capitalise on the current mood and create a proper occasion.

Silly fuckers.

So is that really the situation or not? No you made it up because presumably you are happy to pay it. Its another kick in the bollocks to our rapidly diminishing fan base.

Don’t go then

whatever

I'm getting a ticket in the Coventry end.

It'll be better than sitting with whinging whining buggers!

The game is on & the costs of such needs paying for.

£24 is reasonable in today's market & considerably cheaper than a usual Cat A game, which it normally is for the first home game of the season.

Whatever decisions they made to get this game played, it was never going to please everyone.

Who do you think set the prices

There's only admin with the authority to do so

I have wondered if the opportunity to exploit a unique situation has been missed here. But then I suppose the administrators have bigger things to worry about and I can understand if they just decided to take the more risk-averse option, however unpopular it may be.

Another problem is how many people are going to want to sit where they have been for many seasons, I’m not really arsed about where I’m sat but a lot of sad twats will be

Pretty soon there will only be you there.  Super fan. Enjoy

Ps i am going but this is a piss take and a massive missed opportunity for new owners to get folk on board ahead of the take.over if and when it happens

Definitely this. Amuses me when, on the return journey home from Horwich, we have the radio phone in on BBC radio manchester. It doesn't matter which club the caller supports, the majority doesn't attend home games but listens on the radio.

No wonder we're fucked, there are more folk (for every club) claiming to support but stay home than there are actually paying their coin to attend games.

And how much of the £24 do you think will end up in the clubs coffers ?

£15 would have been a mild thank you to all us barmy fuckers who have thrown money at the club with no real joy for last 7-8 yrs.

Pay what the club ask, this is the club's hour of need.  The great Harry Gosling did a speech at Burnden Park to rally the team and fans in our countries hour of need, now it's our turn to do and show how much we need a football club in this town.   I'm in, I'm going, and I hope I'll be doing my little bit so future generations have a turnstile to click through here in our town.  COYFWM

If they'd priced it at £10 do people honestly think it would meant we could have opened upper and lower and filled the ground?

The moans on social media are mainly  about paying the money to watch kids which is missing the fucking point and where we are at by so much it's astounding.

Category A game? With the team we can put out? Ha ha ha. I realise its the administrators who set the price but its a rip off. Im not disappointed for myself i will pay it but i thought we could have capitalised on saturday and got a good crowd on and that would have boosted ST sales and got as many behind us as we can, backs against the wall stuff. Aint happening now

Be interesting to see what involvement they had, if any, into this.

They're not the owners yet, so perhaps can't make an official decision, but you'd think they would be chatting to the administrators.

A difficult situation, will have to see how many turn out to judge if it's correct or not.

I would imagine something positive beforehand, eg confirmation of takeover/signings might help.

Wycombe ticket prices where very similar to the ticket prices we have set, no one moaned about that?  I can see why people are pissed off, but I’ll be there!
