No problem with either Hill or Nolan, but ideally it needs to be someone who has managed successfully with mostly kids.

Arguably Lee has more experience than Nolan, as in managing teams for a few years now.  Nolan has only done about a year and he left Notts County bottom of the league.  Surely even in our current position we could do better?

Nathan Jones when Stoke sack him and he needs to re-build his reputation. Failing that, i'd be happy enough with Hill.

I'm fully expecting L2 next season so someone who has promotion a couple of times from that division and used to working with no money would be the way to go. Unlikely, but even try to tempt Flynn away from Newport

All 3 of those are a great shout in our current situation (and yes Jones looks terrible at Stoke, but that Luton team was no fluke).  And Sol Campbell if we're talking a realistic one with potential.

Before we got Rioch I wanted Dario Gradi.

I think we should go for him, as we need some better PR.

So does he!

Several years ago maybe but he's too old now

Let's face it, what we need is someone who knows the scene in League 2 and preferably with a track record of getting teams out of that division. My knowledge base of that level isn't good enough to make a suggestion. People talking about Keith Hill and Kevin Nolan on here are the closest to that template.

I must admit I’ve found it unusual that Lee was nowhere to be seen for the Coventry game.

I especially found it unusual, given that he was touting himself for the job in the summer, while Parky was still in charge.

Read the piece he did when the young kid went to Halifax

Completely undermined his boss

That's at least how I read it and how Parky read it

Aye, that as well

You only need listen to McGinlay on radio Manc

Him and Lee are very close

I don't want either of them getting a sniff if we survive

Sol Campbell comes across as a complete bellend. I'd fucking hate it if he was our new manager. Can I be the first to call for the sacking of our hypothetical new manager?

What was the context in that- a question maybe of "were you disappointed to see him go to Halifax?"

Also "would you like to manage the club one day?"

Maybe a fishing expedition by the BN?

To be honest, if anyone wants to manage us at the moment, it would be a start!
