The tone and language especially the recognition given to people who have made this happen is nearly always spot on with FV. Quote
Big E Posted September 3, 2021 Posted September 3, 2021 Payment plans or paid it’s a great news for BWFC. cleverly done so we can avoid spending big in the window 😁😁😁 Quote

Quote Bolton Wanderers FC is delighted to confirm that it has now met its obligations and agreed settlement arrangements I read it that it has met the agreed arrangements. A comma after the obligations, and it could mean what your interpretation. Quote
Members Lt. Aldo Raine Posted September 3, 2021 Members Posted September 3, 2021 But then Sharon is quoted as stating "After a very challenging two years we are absolutely delighted to confirm that the Club has reached agreement with its unsecured creditors.". All very confusing. The good thing though is we now have confirmation we are free of restrictions. Quote

I thought they had agreed arrangements with the administrator some time ago for payment. I read it as meaning that that has now been completed, and no more money owed. Could be wrong of course. Quote
Dr. Feelgood Posted September 3, 2021 Posted September 3, 2021 I couldn't give two shits how it's done, we have cleared a debts and now removed all controls on our actions. We can trade and operate properly. Precisely 2 years after we were a blink away for going out of business. Realistic forward progress can now continue. It's been done honestly, by good peopke, in a good way. Self respect is restored. Now a decent squad at this level, playing attractive football and can look to progress. Quote

Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted September 3, 2021 Site Supporter Posted September 3, 2021 We pay our dues/reach agreement with creditors and still people are not happy. shakes head. Fuck it, let’s pay £1.50 in the pound due to make up for the heartache. Quote

MancWanderer Posted September 3, 2021 Posted September 3, 2021 (edited) We’ve come to an agreement with the creditors. We didn’t fuck them over. FV didn’t fuck them over. We all know who did it. Everyone seems “happy” as far as “happy” can be applied so on we move. My utter sympathies to all those who were shafted by the fucking shysters who used to own our club Edited September 3, 2021 by MancWanderer Quote

Dr. Feelgood Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 The club has just advertised for a Head of HR role. Reporting to the Chairperson. Interested parties have until 8 September to apply. I'm retired after 40 years battling Unions in very aggressive manufacturing industries all over Europe but I'm wondering how much I'd need to pay them to report to the Shaz for a few years. Quote
Eddie Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 Really good article in the BN today about what’s happening behind the scenes - recruitment, data analysis, forward planning, new ideas etc. I love that type of stuff, it’s the kind of thing that can cost very little, or nothing at all in some cases, but can give you an advantage on those that are stale and set in their own ways. It’s obvious that this is driven by a young, progressive manager but is also bought into by a very clever and business savvy owner - it really does look like the perfect combination and I’m confident that if we keep both, we’ll be battling at the top end of the championship within the next few years. It might not happen this year but you can just tell the overall direction that the club is now going in, and it’s only one way. https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/19583114.bolton-wanderers-believe-can-league-one-football-data/ Quote
