For a few weeks the football was encouraging and the quality of the players we were bringing in were surprisingly good too.  However he couldnt build on that start and we went backwards, with his interviews becoming more embarrassing by the day.

He's definitely taken that job on Tranmere's terms.  Forced to use the current coach/assistant manager, and only given till the end of this season initially.  Not exactly a ringing endorsement, Hill would have wanted Flicker with him, Dawes has no track record and has only been at Tranmere since August, not like he's a club legend or anything.
