Of course population and density of that population has some influence on the figures, more movement, more people and many more contacts mean more transmission of the infection and at a greater speed.

Also Wonder what their economy looks like?

They're in pubs, going to watch live international rugby matches in full stadiums, everyone at work. I bet the immediate prospects are a lot rosier.

Going to happen up here shortly this.  Jimmy is itching to shut the borders

Hope so, I'm supposed to be flying from Glasgow at half term, and Ryanair are playing the 'flight is still on, so fuck off with your refund' card.

Not that it being illegal for me to go to the airport will prevent them still refusing.

She’s 1 agenda in all this she can see the golden prize. She’s a cow.

100%. Exactly what I said to my missus at lunch. It’s all she wants

Why wouldn't she? I bet your average Scot is so far removed from the likes of Boris and his Uber twats and the going ons in Westminster they can't wait to get gone. The poll published today indicates that.

Define average Scot?
And to your other question why potentially bankrupt the country that you live in? Let you figure out why that might not be great.

This never stands up for me. Everyone one of us in the UK has the same representation at Westminster. The fact that its a way off is immaterial.

Put the centre of government anywhere, same still applies.

In fact they're going to have to start moving some of it, if sea levels keep rising.

We all know what that means.

Ginger hair, alcoholic, deep fired Mars Bars.

Same could be said for Brexit

Perhaps it may be because our mayor is taking legal action. Put us into total lockdown in the meantime. :)

Burnham was suggesting a nationwide circuit breaker would be his preferred option.

Tend to agree

I think it's highly likley, and half term might mean less disruption for some, so wouldn't surprise me if that's the plan.

Likely, rather than likley

😇

But, why stop a massive part of the country working and functioning when infection rates are low?

Just been to Hawes, there have been 4 infections, all one family, which was headline local news.

As bad an idea as I’ve ever heard. Mentalists only need apply.

It’s been a while since I’ve been up there. My experience of the Scots was   a mixture of Conservatism and Nationalism. Apart from parts of Glasgow, I couldn’t understand why Labour did so well there. Just my view.

burnhams fine with tier 3 if those forced to stop working get properly compensated

Hes worked out that unless the home counties are on lockdown, the rest of the country will be left to suffer financially

It is a different country to them. And look at the state of the Tories. Public school condescending twats. I'd be game for lumping in with the Scots if they did get independence
