Which was my earlier point. So why are they suddenly going now because of the restrictions which was your inference ?

And it’s probably a small fraction in reality of the population of London that do so

And kudos to him. My Sister and bro in law are the same

I'm sure they won't, but this govt are just coming across as weak as piss

It’s a shit show.  But look at places like Germany which have been lauded on here. 30k plus cases I heard yesterday was it? This thing is moving rapidly and changing. Nobody can keep up other than those who took proper action early on. Everyone else is pushing piss up hill now sadly including us

But they were going anyway. You’ve just said it. So which is it.

were they doing it anyway or going because of the restrictions? Do you think?

Well, no belly aching, if that's the rules that's the rules.

Its Christmas over really for us, mum and dad can't come down, so its just us and then the kids on boxing day for a week of sitting in 😂

Not seen my kids for a month now, and its not easy at all but nothing to be done about it - so many others worse off.

At least i won't have to go shopping in January- we'll have that much food!!!

Thanks. Are the tories in charge in Germany  too? And are they subject to London bias as well do you know?

Thoroughly depressing

It is, but cancelling the five day relaxation over Christmas is the right thing to do I think

Aye, Looks that way

All things being equal, I’d like to have thought that schools, supermarkets, building sites etc being shut would have off set it

The data on this new strain etc puts a nail in the coffin though sadly

To be fair it was Kent that was the problem area, not London. It went through my daughter's school super fast in a week her whole class was positive and 80% of her year group.

I just think this north/south narrative isn't helpful.

How’s the London bias looking?

Could be argued that leaving them in tier 2 helped this new variant spread.

It's a bag of shite this. My nipper just been in tears.

If we lose against Tanmere, this is going down as a shit Saturday

We’ve got used to tier 3. A brief respite on Christmas Day is a bonus. Feel sorry for anyone who don’t even have that now.
Football wise, a bleak Christmas for everyone.
