Aye, bleak, as well as telling us how many cases and deaths, they should also start to include how many vaccinations...

Today there were 830 deaths, we'll be back over 1000 by this time next week

‘‘Twas asked of krankie yesterday to provide that figure alongside the usual figures by Ruth Davidson. Can’t remember what jimmy said exactly but think it was bit of a bluster and not at the moment love type response.

Update on Thursday. Daily figures from Monday.
Aiming for the 13m for middle of Feb still.

Interesting one on kids, the vaccine is not approved for kids.

They said that at the time of approval of Pfizer one.

Testing not done on kids, so no specific data.

One slight positive is the apparent plateau in London/s.e. Cases still very high though, but I'm positive that the lockdown will have its effect.

Spent two big stints working there at the big tesco in my former career.

Quite a decent night out down that main drag. Lava and ignite and all that caper.

Think we stayed at a toby carvery-premier inn jobby. Queen Eleanor I think.

Well impressed with something I heard earlier

Some primaries have got teachers going in

Teacher will teach as normal to those kids allowed to attend, for three hours, while the kids at home watch over tinternet

It’s like anywhere pal. If you’re there for long enough you get to know where to go etc. it’s no worse than any other town but most folk judge it by how close to train station and whether it’s got a spoons for an away day.

I think stories like that show how despite the headline stories people are still trying to help each other out.

We just drove to park today and roads were packed. Initial lockdown remember all the charts about car use and public transport. This feels like a lot less.

Too many folk deciding that it ain’t got them in first ten months it probably isn’t going to get them.

Went for a walk earlier with mrs esco and we both couldn’t believe how busy the roads were.
Busier than what we would expect in a non lockdown which was bizarre. Police drove both ways and Weren’t concerned at the cars full to the brim which wasn’t a surprise.

went to tesco first thing this morning and it was dead. Shelves fully stocked which I was surprised at. Although they had shut every other checkout which I assume Is for social distancing of the customers.
