I've got a 12yr old son,  Centre back or CDM for BWFC academy at the moment, I'm struggling to find any decent defensive drills that he can do, got any tips? - hes got an older brother and me, he's miles better than us so we aren't much of a challenge for him.

Get him running up and down Rivvy with a rucksack full of bricks

Recruiters stink of sleaze (jules ain’t a bad lad)

loads of crumpet in the business though

I will second that regarding the crumpet,  met a stunning young lady who works in recruitment a couple of months ago, remind me to show you the pictures on the next away day, the colonel will love her.

Ciaran O’Brien and Paul Drinkwater both came from BWFC to City one left because he didn’t want to coach women, and one left to join Parky at Sunderland.
Loads of coaches end up going to Dubai, the money is good and it’s living in Dubai but the cost of living and working 6 days a week is what they don’t tell you about.

I take it your'e at city now then?

my lad was there for a few years when young,  but it was too far to drive, his primary school was in West Lancashire,  we were having to take him out of school early to get there in time for training,  and he was falling asleep in the car on the way back, Lostock is about 15 mins drive, so much better for us. Some great coaches at city though, he learned a lot, and they still speak to him when we play city, ask him how he is getting on etc.

My mates lad is in the academy at city. You will 100% be coaching him in the first team in a few years if you’re still there.

Yeah been there almost 10 years absolutely love it sometimes it doesn’t feel like a job I enjoy it that much.
The set up is incredible I know they get the label of money bags but the stuff they do with the academy kids and in the community is incredible.

Soem fantastic coaches then Pep brought his own in and I couldn’t believe how good they are.

I’ll have a look when I’m back I don’t deal with the academies too much, but there’s a lot of promise through all the age groups

He’s a superstar. Of course I’m biased but genuinely seriously good so much so I’ve a bet on him playing for England before his 21st birthday

My son left a few weeks before they moved the youngsters to the new place, so we were at platt lane all the time, still good. Viera used to come and have a watch some times. The facilities at the new place are amazing, by far the best we go to, (but Liverpool's looks like its catching up a bit) - do they do much futsal at all there?

At my sons age they still play city, united, liverpool, everton....... well they did, going to be a shock playing Fleetwood, Morecambe, Rochdale next year

Only 79k from target

This week, one branch of the NHS was told to start logging how, who, when, why they had used PPE

And email it somewhere so they could be replenished as and when

Anyway, theyre now down to a few masks left

Put a call in,

oh, erm, thanks, ill get you some sent out

Not much point doing the delay reporting, seemingly

Fwiw, id expect hand scanning SKUs as they were opened, then ideally automatically sending the info through to create an order

Second best, hand scan and upload periodically

But hey, wtf do i know

Haha you've just brought back some very bad memories - I had the misfortune of going to see a few, about 15 years ago, some of them were ok, but most were cocks, like the cheesiest crappy inexperienced car salesmen ever, most of them pestered me for months after.

I was employed in telecoms,  but wanted to move to a smaller telecoms company and specialise in a technical area, I'd had 10yrs experience  - tried to palm me off with a jobs in everything but telecoms, one job they wanted to put me forward for interview for was, I kid you not,  sceptic tank cleaning and removal (maybe a decent job but pretty fucking far from telecoms)

When the 20yr old consultant was trying to pitch it to me,  I started to roll my eyes and shake my head and laugh, so she had a go at me saying my interview technique was poor

If you were in comms and went to see high street recruiters then you deserve what you got 🙈

They were mainly in Cheshire I think, can't remember, blocked it out of my memory thankfully, was years ago. I was sucked in by  searching for jobs that looked good online but never seemend to exist once I got in front of the recruitment consultant.

have you seen the news from Ecuador?

they've reported 403 covid deaths, however one province has reported 14.5k total deaths in the last 6 weeks, usually they have 3K in the same period

they aint got the facilities to deal with the bodies so they're putting some out in the street!

puts our situation into perspective a bit

This clapping the NHS reminds me of the poppy stuff. Half the folk doing it are just trying to outdo each other.

change it to tiktok dances FOR the NHS .. bring it full circle.

Breakin' 3: NHS vs The Police

PC Plod and Officer Dibble must battle Gladys Emmanuel and Jack Elam in a dance off judged by Steve Harvey with special guest stars Jean Claude Van Damme and Vin Diesel..

the winner doesnt get shut down by the government
