I’m noticing a theme on the socials

The large majority of people scouting the web for links that suggest we need to lockdown until 2027 are almost all boneidle fucking scroungers who would happily stay furloughed forever.

They are also the same people who an hour later post that they are going to be “first on that plane to Alicante”

I’ve never had it never will. 
 

if I wanted to stay in contact with someone I would. If I’m not in contact with them cos I didn’t like them 30 years ago at school I can be pretty sure I wouldn’t like them now either or give a fuck what they had for their tea last night or look at pictures portraying a perfect life.

My kids don't use it, they think it's shite, along with twitter.

Instagram, snapchat, youtube - they only want to talk to their mates, can't be arsed with randoms.

Aye, kids don't use such stuff as FB and Twitter these fays, it's all about Insta innit (I think)

FB is great for keeping in touch with family and friends with regards to photos etc, and also good for promoting a small business. If people don't like it, they don't have to use it

What did your MP say when you wrote to him asking him to bring it up in the HoC as a debate?  -  as you feel so strongly about it, I'm assuming that you've actually done something to get it taken down

Spokesman for Bury Education Council just got ripped a new one by Emma Barnett on R5L.

Can't remember his name but his initials are TT.

He couldn't answer how many of the 50 schools under Bury authority had responded to his questionnaire.

One parent texted in that the deadline was today for responses but the decision had already been taken on Monday not to open on June 1st.

He couldn't answer one question directly.

Why would i waste my time doing such a thing? I’ve absolutely no idea who my msp is either.  
 

I prefer to use my time on things I can influence and change as it’s much more productive than pointless exercises. You’re a bright chap you wouldn’t waste your time doing such a thing either in reality 

Getting a multi billion pound business shut down is probably outside of the grasp of even someone as bright as myself to be honest

With most of the shops shut down it is a good tool to use for local folk wanting stuff done, i ordered a pair of jeans online and they came a mile to long, i went on a local site asking for alterations, was answered within 5 mins, took them and got them back the next day for £ 4. It would have cost more than double than that in a dry cleaners in Leigh, and took over a week to get them done.

suppose its good for businesses selling to joe public.

Not being on it hasn't affeceted my life in any negative way that I've noticed, just got more time back and less angry.
