my dad used to get cans of breaker and colt 45 from Makro, which were good to steal -  my mum drank blue nun and black tower white wine,  and babycham or snowballs at xmass  - frigin awful when your'e 14

Things seem to be moving, looking like  staff (support/administration staff) are back on the 1st June, teachers and Students back the week after.

Email asked if we had any underlying conditions and if we have had or are recovering from C-19, also asked if we had children under 12 and if there are any other reasons you cannot get in to work. It was put fairly and in a genuine nice manner. 

Daughters school asked if we are happy for her to return, answered 'Yes of course'. Looks like some schools are giving Patents the option.

Looking like most schools and Colleges will be back in early to mid-June, phased return more likely and i would assume with partial teaching staff.

Got an email from lads primary school more or less saying keep them away, can’t guarantee if they will be in the same bubble as friends/ can’t say if they will have same teacher etc, but ultimately up to you 

that was this morning then burg council posted this

Junior's school emailed parents in each year group to gauge opinion.
 

Jnr is 15 and does GCSEs this time next year and the vote from parents in her age group was 90%+ to return.

Year 10 are the most important in all this. Whatever happens, they need the teaching time.

agreed, or at least some variant of teacher contact, to move them along.

I've got a year 10 form, I inherited them in January and we were just getting to know each other, some lovely kids in there. I've managed to get them onboard for my point of view and this threw a massive spanner in the works. I've got some that have detentions most days due to poor attitude but they like the pastoral support I offer. 

Even if it's a case of coming in for social distanced meetings with parents to track progress, it will do them the world of good.

Doubt the true figure will ever be known.

Stories of folk dying of other issues and being recorded as covid and on the other hand, still other covid cases that may come in.

Probably a little bit higher, we'll get the new ONS stats tomorrow, think we're pretty much up there with transparancy number wise.

There's loads of uncounted deaths in US, Italy, Spain, France, China, Russia, South America and Africa according to many,

Wouldnt surprise me if China's had the most, and I bet North Korea have had tens of thousands instead of the 0 they've reported.

China has reported lots of cases in their NK border towns, and has sealed off nearby cities. Kim Jon Un has gone missing again for another fortnight, and theyve had thousands of testing kits and ppe donated rom china, russia and UNICEF

Spoke to my lads SENCO last week the plan wasn't to get him back till end of June at the earliest anyway.

The little oddball just can't get the idea of social distancing. Like you talk to him about it and he says he gets it then buggers off round the supermarket touching everything. Only taken him out into the public twice and I've ended up taking him to sit in the car.

Difficult to prove, I’d have thought
