He is getting Brexit done, go Boris

That should only take 35-40 minutes (fan) though as it was oven ready.

Nah, that bit was for starters, and has been eaten already.

We're onto the next one now; they're just arguing over the fish course

Ah right.

He must have forgotten to mention that. Us thicky voters assumed he was saying that the deal was done, and just needed sign off.

Whats after the fish course?

Did you vote for the tories spider? If you don’t mind me asking as your post would imply you did and because of his statement around the over ready deal.

It's also almost a year to the day from when he said that us leaving with no deal was a million to one shot....

We should fuck the fish course off, it's not worth having, in fact it's a massive waste of time and effort, we should skip it and concentrate on the courses that actually mean something and fill you up

That's, the point of a fish course; doesn't fill you up.

Then have a fine British steak, Japanese sea slug, or civet wrapped in Indonesian banana leaf.

I'll give the sea Slug a miss, I've had it three times before, and it's fucking grim

If it was grim the 1st time why have it again? Or is it due to some weird custom not to offend the wankers giving it to you? Who are really laughing their tits off at the honky gipping with every mouthful :D

286 deaths todays total.

All the usual scientists disappeared from briefings and no mention of track and trace results.

It is very strange at the moment.

Strange?

You'd not be shocked if you woke up in the morning to hear the cabinet, their families and some of Johnson's kids had fucked off to a remote island, location unknown

They'd leave Hancock and Patel behind.

Obvs

Sort it out guys

There are enough people in New Zealand for them to consistently have better rugby teams than England and their Test cricket team seems similar to England standard in recent times. There was a one hour show on channel 5 last night covering the train journey from Auckland to Wellington and the country did seem sparsely populated as you say. They have some top viaducts and volcanos mind

Coincidentally, I watched that! Bill Nighy narrating.

Not sure what everyone’s individual experience of home schooling is but ours has been excellent, the teachers have worked non-stop.

The two kids at primary use Class Dojo. The week’s timetable is set and we send in work for marking and there are online classes. The kids work from 9-4 Monday to Friday. Middle kid is also doing home tests and extra zoom classes for the 11 plus. Works very well.

The eldest is set her week’s work, and has direct zoom classes. She does finish the work sooner than if she was at school but all work has to be submitted for marking. She is year 8, so it’s not an exam year but again the teachers are working full time.

my sister, uncles, cousins are all teachers - they have not had anytime off. Those in secondary schools have worked a month straight without even weekends off at the moment to make sure the children have the work, the classes etc They also all have a rota to go into schools for those children who haven’t stopped attending - in one case it’s not so much for key workers but for vulnerable children.

As I say, this is my experience, certainly not seen anyone shirking or not doing over and above their normal jobs.

Back in September is ok for me, but as I say there are children who haven’t had these resources or support.

Although, my re-enactment of the Battle of Hastings didn’t go down well!

Agree 100% my lads year 10 his homework comes through every morning he gets on with it and cracks through it by lunch, then he’s free in the afternoon to game with mates, he’s also now meeting outside up once a week with couple of his mates, he’s loved working like this and suppose it’s good practice and teaches him discipline for home working.

Said similar about lad working from home. Some preparation for later life, when the spoonfed nature of schooling disappears and they have to start thinking for themselves more.

Still missing out on valuable social interaction though

Daughters school are ruthless with the homework which is good to see (yr8 and it’s fairly challenging tbf)

the lad who’s moving up September has been winding down for weeks he’s more interested in his football and seeing his mates which at this time is fine
