Even if you accept theres an issue with the numbers, its not going to affect the vast majority Ie the first 5 or 6 weeks And anyway, its not the number of deaths that I knock them for, its the amateurish leadership, decision making, muddled announcements, defending Cummings and generally thinking they can take the plebs for mugs They've been utterly shit and if nobody had died, they'd still have been utterly shit Quote

Tombwfc Posted July 17, 2020 Posted July 17, 2020 The ONS did a report on the excess deaths in June and found it was highly likely that the vast, vast majority of them will have been from COVID. Test or no test. But really, if the Karol Sikora, Matt Le Tissier, KBF brigade don't get it at this point, they never will. Quote
Escobarp Posted July 17, 2020 Posted July 17, 2020 Highly likely may as well be “we think” “could be” “possibly is” “maybe”. Same weight of proof I think it’s highly likely Jeremy corbyn smashed abacus abbots back doors in. But again it means nowt Quote

Mistakes happen and bad choices happen it’s about how we learn from them. Whether we have a government that are doing so and are thus learning as a country I’m not too sure though. Quote

Ghana White Posted July 18, 2020 Posted July 18, 2020 Speaking of PALS at bolton general. My dad was in bolton general a couple of years back and I wouldnt have treated a dog the way he was, it was a disgrace made worse by the fact the ward he was on got gold status whilst he was there. The ward should have been shut down. I complained to PALS and the woman said you're right I send my family to the hospital in Preston!! I went back and the next woman in their was furious that had happened and very understanding thankfully. My mum was in over Christmas though and the AMU were superb, killing themselves whilst clearly understaffed, a and e were fantastic too. Quote
Escobarp Posted July 18, 2020 Posted July 18, 2020 Local pub near me has face masks on entry and til your at your seat. If your going to the toilets or moving about the bar to go out for a fag or anything then facemasks required as well. that’s how it should be done. Quote

Ani Posted July 18, 2020 Posted July 18, 2020 So it seems we are stopping reporting daily deaths as after 4 months the Govt have decided the numbers are misleading. Quote

Was it not the media asking for them to be at the briefings in the first place? Seems to be my recollection Quote
