Wycombe (H)

Hard to look foward to this! Wycombe have a lost a bit of form since the start of the season when they was top of league, clinging onto a playoff spot.

They have been beaten in their last four away games. Hopefully Crawford's is nearing a comeback which will be a positive.

Can you remember what year it was? I ended up in Blackburn with some LH Reds,   didn’t go to the game just for a drink round the TC.

How's the weather in Horwich this morning ? Any chance of the game being called off ?

Went for a walk on the tops earlier and came home pissed wet through, rain has got far worse since then but can't see it getting called off.

Cold, wet, not many on, and first game in a 3 match winning streak for us is my prediction.

Have we ever had a game called off through rain at Reebok?

Remember one be called off due to snow

That was torrential weather

Don’t mind getting to Lincoln and getting called off but tight from Russia

Cardiff in the cup 2001ish, waterlogged pitch

Preston friendly abandoned due to lightning strikes

Stelios sliding the length of the pitch on his arse.

1-0 win!

is fanzone open?

The Cardiff one was a bit strange tbh.We did have a lot of injuries at the time .

Cardiff fan I knew back on the day reckoned big Sam had the sprinklers on

Anyway we beat them in the rearranged game.

Think the Zenit game was only played because they wanted it played on the day whatever.Great team dont think we would have had a chance on a decent surface.

Storm Denis? i've seen more water in my kitchen sink.

Iirc St Petersburg would have slaughtered us if it hadn't biblically bounced, they were ripping us a new one before the pitch flooded.

Didnt they win it a couple of seasons later when we got to quarters or was it same season? Memory playing tricks again

Rings a bell.

We brought Borgetti and El Hadj Diouff  on as subs, has a club ever fallen as far as we have in 15 years ffs.

If I remember correctly, the Zenit game was played on Thursday and The EUFA officials offered to abandon the game and try

again on Friday.  However, the Russians had a league game hundreds of miles from home on the Sunday and just wanted to

get the match completed and go home.

Strong line up that

2-1 us

Fuck me it's blowy up here, level things up a bit.

It's got Emmanuel in ?  Weak link!

He will never make a defender and has probably cost us several points this season

Apart from Akinfenwa literally never heard of any of their team.

Same season I think, they beat Rangers at the Etihad.

Seems like a top fella that Akinfenwa.

Had lots of praise for the youngsters in the previous game.

Day before game he went on telly and said he was going to bully the kids. Got a load of stick. Think realised he was being a prick. Like everyone else at Wycombe was great on the day and afterwards.
