Not forcing myself through dry jan during the current shitstorm but like others aiming to cut down big time. No beers until Feb, will have a few gins and the odd wine at weekend but beers are my usual choice of poison

Well my twice weekly stroll down Market St to get supplies from The Brewery Tap  and have a quick chat has just been curtailed. Ta Boris !!.

 Don't understand why i can buy ale from the big four . (No not Metallica , Slayer ,Megadeath and Anthrax) But cannot buy takeaway Ale from a small local Bar. With 1 in 1 out rules in place.

Plus i can no longer call into Tin Head.

Looks like Cameroms is going to get an order.

Or Bank Top as  well as a home delivery from Black Edge.

Wonder if Wrights will be allowed to open.

It doesn't

The only alcohol free beer I can say i "enjoy" is the Erdinger one.

All the others just taste like misery

I'll not be finding out, so no bother

The brew dog one tastes half alright for the first sip then is a challenge to finish the bottle. 

Had a few sober weeks in the run up to the second sprog's due date...they fly out second time so have to be ready to rock at any moment!

Be better off just buying a can of Shandy Bass than the zero alcohol stuff I reckon.

Makes a change from tea and pop.

Rarely have it, but cool in summer its ok.

 

I wouldn't sup alcohol free beer if it was free.......

but the latest Beer52 box turned up today which I'd totally forgotten about and is tempting me, especially the one called "Dank & Bitter"

also got an HonestBrew box of DIPAs due that i ordered on Dec 18th which hasn't turned up yet

will probably turn up Monday and be sat there all week taunting me

I’m looking forward to it. Sounds like it’s right up my street. Just got a few months to wait to taste it!!

Just not enjoying having a beer at home anymore. Its ok, but I'm missing a draft pint, so I'm going to try and do this month. No chance of having a drink in the week with work and home schooling, impossible.

In fact I'm off to bed in a moment!

I did about 6 weeks alcohol free when the first lockdown started. It was hard work. Since then I've done the odd week, but fuck me, life's too short.  I've been buying occasional bottle of beer, but today I placed my first order with Northern Monkey.
