Lennon would have been superb taking over when we took coyle, we’d of been still in top flight.

Think most managers would have struggled losing a midfield three of Holden Davies and Muamba

Coyle just didn’t help himself

Where would a lazy arse who couldn't be bothered looking, find this Evatt podcast?

The Cowley Brothers have just been sacked at Huddersfield, shame we didn't hold out and maybe had a chat to them for the managers job?

I’m happy with Evatt.

They'll be in demand and will end up at a mid table Championship team, definitely wouldn't be willing to drop two divisions

I think Birmingham might have been on the phone to them already

They showed they weren't up to it at a higher level, Huddersfield shouldn't have been in a relegation scrap.

...they came in when Huddersfield had 1 point from 6 games

Very strange decision, he did the job he was brought in to do, as did Pearson at Watford.  The only thing I can think of with Cowley is that they dont like his style of football, but they knew what they were getting.  Birmingham's a good shout for his next destination, failing that he'll get a lower championship or higher League One club like Pompey or Sunderland.  I would have been happy to have him here but more than happy to see how Project Evatt Total Football goes for a couple of years.

Rumours Pearson sacked as well! Thats what you get for keeping your team up!

They're aren't safe yet

But with city away and arsenal at home to come they're going to struggle to find someone who can do some new manager magic impact type thing to make sure they're safe

It will catch up with Watford eventually keep sacking managers like they do tbh looks possible this season.

Can easily see Watford beating Arsenal if they need to.

Really?

One sacking too many for me.

Reckon they could well be dropping.

More a case of Arsenal being brittle. Although they've beaten the countries two best sides, football a funny old game and all that.

Signs that's changing now.

They were on it so to speak continually against city. Far more spine than I've seen for a good while.

As long as they have Luiz at centre back they wont have a spine.  A good few teams have kept City out when its attack v defence for 90 minutes and there are 9 defenders in or around the box. Completely different game when you're the team with most of the possession like when they play Brighton or Newcastle, and Luiz is caught flat footed against a team quick on the break, or they get caught out passing it around instead of clearing it.  Arsenal have beaten City twice and Liverpool in the last month but are no more likely to beat Watford and Villa this week.

bang in form at the minute, 2nd in the form table - 13 from 18, outside chance of Europe I think too

be an interesting game anyway

up first though, Villa V Arsenal

if Villa can beat them, Watford have to

Aye, part of my thinking. If one battle sums up Watford v Arsenal, it's Deeney v Luiz. Thinking about it, he's surely got to play that Kolasinic fella or someone similar.
