Bit like Dyche, taken them up, will get relegated this season but if they hold their nerve, could easily get them back up again for another tilt at earning the big bucks.

Wouldnt struggle to get another job if he was potted

Good point. Burnley been doing reasonably well after sticking with Dyche.

If wilder does get sacked, he will get a pay off and wont be out of work for long.

Only just seen David Dunn was potted at Barrow.

Having been in charge of 3 clubs he's won 7 games out of 46; some people just aren't cut out for management

He won’t go, spoke to a sheff Utd fan, little money and he is going no where as if they go down, right man to bring them up,

also they remember where he has brought them from and in what time scale

The signing of Brewster reminds me of N’Gog.

Played about 20 games of football in the championship and is bought for over £20m 🤯

aye, just looked and on this day 5 years ago they were slap bang mid table in the 3rd tier, well off the pace for automatic promotion and barely positive goal difference. If you'd offered their fans the option of being one place off the CL at Xmas 4 years later and then in need of a bit of re-building a year after that, but with hefty parachute money to look forward to if they don't fettle it pronto, then I think they'd have taken it!

SHeffield have been abysmal this season though, worse than Bolton  even under Sammy Lee.

Imagine if Owen Coyle had spent £17.5 million on a Scottish striker and started the season with 2 points from the first 14 league games. What would his big hater Boltonvava be saying about that.

As opposed to £3m, in 2012 on Marbin Sotfell & tjen never play him ... largely coz he was shite.

He can piss all over the carpet about mental health problens, but it was attitude &, I must assume, ability that held him back. He's still only 29 !!

Are you seriously trying to liken Wilder to owenbastardcoyle ???  Wilder has taken Sheff Utd from the third division to the premier league & kept them up for one successful season......even if they go down this season, they'll still be higher than when he arrived & in a strong position to bounce straight back, as well as being in a miles stronger financial position than when he arrived.

On the other hand, that cunt Coyle destroyed an established premier league club & playing squad that he inherited, &  from there, carries the greatest responsibility for our fall from premier league to division 4.

They are both shit 👍 Neither of them is any better than the other.

I know which I’d prefer as Bolton’s next manager if the shortlist was just those two.

clue: not Coyle.

Joey Barton gone from Fleetwood, he has done a decent job, they also play decent football.... strange one, but could be something else, it is Joey Barton after all.

I wouldn't want that prick anywhere near our football club. Some things are just not worth having.

Is he going to put cigars in players' eyes when we lose?

It's because of his view of Billy Crellin being a great prospect.

Why has he left- has it been stated.

Article in The Sun says they've spent bog in the hopes of winning promotion. I think it's a combination of that and him having so many fallouts with people. Final straw kind of thing.

Is his Court case for attacking some other team's manager due. (Stendell of Barnsley, April '19).

Wondered that. But it's no reason to get rid of him now, surely?

A bit strong Coyle would of kept us up if the midfield wouldn’t of been decimated Holden , Muamba , Davies ., Chungy all out . No manager would of coped with that . And that’s with being  robbed at Stoke on the last day

I am not saying he is a good manager he as done nothing since But he brought in wilshere , sturridge  , Lee and Taylor playing wingers In a time when everyone watching bolton wanted entertaining football . Otherwise might as well stuck with Megson .

top 6 in prem in November and finished 14 a fa cup semi final in the first season .

Give my right arm for those days now 😂
