Marc505 Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 Yeah I hope it gets numbers like that too, it should if its publicised in the right places. Heard it discussed on TS last night so at least it's not just a social media thing, because 133k is brilliant in such a short space of time, but nowt in terms of the numbers associated with football. deane koontz Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 Makes no sense having stadium closed entirely when all these indoor places are open. Can't see owt changing in the near future while the infection rates are going up though. Quote
birch-chorley Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 Just signed At the end it gives you details of your local MP, mines Lindsay Hoyle (Speaker of the house), so I dropped him an e-mail asking him to support the petition (as a fellow Bolton fan I’d like to think he will) Signing the petition is one thing but definitely worth everyone dropping a quick e-mail to their MP to go with it. MP’s are generally supportive of their constituents so if they get a few e-mails they will likely champion it in the House If everyone who signed it also e-mailed their MP then it definitely get a decent hearing Quote

Benny The Ball Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 That petition website includes an interesting map showing the distribution of people who have signed the petition by electoral constituency . Broadly follows the distribution of Football teams as expected - apart from London where clearly most fans commute from the surrounding counties Locally Bolton West leads the way of the 3 Bolton constituencies https://petitionmap.unboxedconsulting.com/?petition=552036 Quote

My all time favourite pause before the goal type thing is this Frandsen's free kick to make it 4-0 at Leicester You can hear one bloke cheer a split second before everyone else does, he clearly knew it was going in Quote
