Three weeks now is typical. Worse than ever.

Thankfully, the federation doctor service in Bolton has been providing additional, out of hours services for some time.

Both me and the lad have used them occasionally for a year or two.

Too many people for too few docs.

Their union blocked expansion of intake numbers some time ago, so as to protect wages.

Takes around 10 years from starting to become a gp.

Meanwhile the population has gone up stupidly.

There is a shortage of GPs, ask yourself why.

Prostate cancer seems more prevalent that ever these days - perhaps it’s my age.  A good mate is also living with the illness - caught early thankfully.

Dont ignore any symptoms chaps and see a doctor if any concerns!!

New tests and screening seem to be on the way.

Looks a good do. I did the Last Royal Tournament in 99. What an experience that was. Throwing thunder flashes into the field gunners accom at 2am wasn’t the smartest move. Absolute units those men!
