Rudy as a coach is nt the fact that it is symmetrical a testament to playing as a team to a system and everyone doing their job ? 

MJ & Lee without a doubt are the platform that's allowed us push on with the fullbacks playing as wing backs. 2 Brilliant signings.

Without seeing all the data I’d say it’s what you’d want, that’s a high pressing game and everyone on the same hymn sheet; no one is carrying anyone, it’s similar to Liverpool’s last year and City’s two seasons ago. 
 

I bet IE trains them a lot without the ball and a lot with positional play. 
 

They will do a training exercise called lemmings, basically a coach will have them in their positions and then shout a opposition position of where the ball is. RIGHT BACK, every one will then have a position to face and be, CENTRE MID, then a different position, it’s how you press high and get the ball back. 
 

It’s a basketball drill, Ajax ,Barca, City do  and now we do it 😁

Big fan of Gethin Jones, but when we have relentless waves of attack after attack, I can’t help but wonder how good Kioso would’ve been.

Even better than GJ imo, but its all water under bridge now. Lets move on, GJ is doing just fine.

GJ is getting forward more these days and is getting some decent crosses in. He's another that's come one leaps and bounds. Gets carried away at times but he's coming on a treat.

I wonder if the unrelenting bellowing from Gilks is having an effect on all the defenders.

Personally I don't see Kioso being as good defensively as Jones, who I think has been a real stand out player of this recent run.

Jones has improved a lot lately.

I'd agree with that, he's improved game by game over the last 10, maybe not the toughest tackled but reliable enough defensively, got forward and made some really telling contributions like the one for Doyle's goal last night.

As a back four they are a very good unit defensively and offensively, getting the blend bang on at minute
