There won’t be a lockdown.

1. It’s ripping through us and alongside the vaccine is immunising massive amounts of the population. Good thing.

2. It seems mild. Caveat here that it could mutate and be dreadful but from what I’ve read a virus nearly always calms down simply to survive. Good thing.

3. There’s no money for it. Good thing, for once.

4. The vaccine is keeping hospitals from having to leave folk in the street.

 

We may see restrictions, but there won’t be a lockdown, there won’t be furlough.

Id been in all week, went to get my booster on Thursday, then went for a pint after I finished work. Started feeling a bit wonky Friday evening, tested all clear every day during the weekend until Monday morning, so rough guess 4 days, might have been more as I did get a ping on weds evening at about 11.

Is it more important to go to the pub on Saturday or see extended family at Christmas? No right or wrong, just some folk might not want to risk it for the next week.
