There'll be no need for a lockdown,
Omicron rules are 10 day self isolation after a positive test.
Cases are doubling every 2-3 days, so they're quadrupling every 5 days, shall we say?

15/12 : 76k cases, so...

20/12 : 304k
25/12 1.216m
30/12 : 4.864m
04/01 : 19.456m
09/01 : 77.824m

So, we'll all have it in just over 3 weeks, so that's your lockdown

Stop testing

Treat it as you would a cold.

If you need th’ambulance, you’ll get one.

Said this all along. Does anyone actually still believe this came from a bat?

Bioweapon to weaken the west and pulverise economies.

Everyone's lives and mental state would be in a far better place if they stuck 'Politics For All' on mute.

Stress emitter masquerading as a service.

Vaccine passport for accessing the ambulance though? Surely?

Can't see any other option but a lockdown after Christmas for the UK.

The vaccine roll out will stop that.

After getting blinding headaches for 12 hours after my first two jabs I'm happy to report my only side effects from the booster are that Mike Tyson has given me a dead arm.  Happy Days.

Out for a Christmas lunch today with 6 of my colleagues.  We've all been asked to do a LFT before we go which seems fair enough.

It's understandable why people don't.

He said we’d never get as bad as Italy.

His record on Covid is pretty much par for the course.

Mounts just uses his common sense.

TBF though, and despite all of the mocking (from myself included), he appears to have got through all this without getting it (so far) so he must be doing something right.

I haven’t had it but I’m hardly a social butterfly these days, just took sensible precautions & had the jabs when I was told, I lost trust when government said don’t go on holiday but could travel to Blackburn where rates were 3 times higher. Don’t get me started on the rule where you couldn’t see dying relatives, that was above & beyond stupidity, 2 Aunties died with no family member by their side.

Not happening.

Aye, no need for lockdown with vaccines and testing in place to quash the spread

The only restrictions should be covid passes to "lockdown" those who choose not to have it putting themselves and others at risk

If they lockdown everyone there'd be no point in vaccines and boosters and folk would be even less likely to get them

Lunch? Lunch?

Are you Hyacinth Bucket?

You've gone down in my estimation when you wrote that.

You're from Bolton ffs - it's DINNER.
