It seems Kirchner's businesses in the US are fckd up as well. Not oayingvstaff on time, missing franchis payments.

How can the Admins not have found this out ? How can the EFL have not ?

Fit and proper persons test goes out of the window when you are the only show in town.

FACT

Wonder if the EFL will allow them to start the season if this drags on. Don’t know why Quantuma don’t give Mike Ashley the go ahead. He’s just sold Newcastle for 300 million

They’ll leave it to the death squeeze every penny piece out of it… they really are a shower of shit.

Ashley not in it to save Derby he's in it to benefit him.W Apparently he won't pay Administrators their fee that's why they won't deal with him. Also won't pay asking price for the ground or give the creditors as much as Kirchner would.

However pretty soon he could be the only one saving them from liquidation and he will squeeze every concession from the above. Be interesting to see if he becomes owner will Derby get 15 points deduction for not paying creditors the required amount and will they be playing at PP?

I heard on the local news they cannot meet the June payroll as things stand, just five players on the books

Fair play to him. Its not his job to pick up the admin tab. Hes a brilliant business man.

True enough.

Could have been playing the long game, especially if he had an idea that the other lot couldn't meet the requirements.

Yep think he will end up with the club and do a good job . He knows he will have to invest to get them to the prem to recoup is money at the end of the day . There is no point buying derby to asset strip when there is fuck all left buy it for a song

Don’t you have to pay released players the month after as well?

players can also leave the club if they are not paid, but i'm not sure what the rules are for that, that polish lad left us when he wasn't paid (I think)

He'll do what he always does and come in at the very last minute offering £2.50 and a bag of Donnay socks giving the company no option but to accept or go out of business

He probably did the due diligence on Kirschner that the EFL didn’t do, so knew all he had to do was wait.

Yes that were the rules when we were in it .

Agreed, there are no assets as Candy Crush man owns the stadium... at the end of the day all there is for sale is a football club empty of players with some history and a limited fan base with no bricks and mortar.

Mel Morris always said he was a supporter and he doctored the finances to have a shot at the big time but fell short at the final hurdle.

Now it has all collapsed, it's a case of holding on to whatever you have and fuck everyone else, Mel Morris owns the most.

Rooney for Blackpool? 🙂

Gezuntheit.

There’s a lot of Bolton fans unsympathetic to Derby’s predicament because of their scoffing at our own. Just had a look on DerbyWays and, by and large, they really were on our side.

If he doesn't

a. Pay all footballing debts, in full.

b. Pay other creditors 25p in the £

c. Meet a whole series of deadlines and charges.

Then he'll be due penalties including ;-

-15pts for a continuing offence.

-3 more pts for failing to pay contracted wages.

All tje wage, signing & agent constraints we know so well.

Plus the issue of the club not paying Rooney, but some sponsor doing it ... yet another failure to comply with financial regulations ... still to be dealt with.

So Ashley may get them on the cheap, but they'll not be unscathed by it.

If he refuses to pay the appointed administrators then new legal issues will doubtless arise.

Finally, add to that the Wycombe law case which might gave faded away had Wycombe got promoted. Their losses, due to not only Derby's financial issues but also their deliberate foot dragging, will now be even greater.

Add to that forest getting to the PL alongside Leicester and this is probably the worst ever time to be a Derby fan

2 of my good mates are Forest and Derby fans. They’ve gone from being very similar teams (probably Derby the better one) for so long, to being absolutely worlds apart in the matter of months. Even 1 season of the Prem money for Forest will fundamentally change their position, whereas if Derby carry on like they are then they’re more likely to follow our route and drop straight to L2! It could be 5+ years before it balances out again. Fair to say the Forest fan is pretty smug at the moment.

EFL putting pressure on now.
