    Sarc can fuck off.

  • I'm in + 1. Not selling 5k tickets to 10k+ ST holders is piss poor, frankly. I don't give a shit about... it's only Stockport/the membership scheme/it's not free/it's on a Sunday etc etc

Just got three adults and a child in the family area at the side. I was told there were not many left so just selling tickets in the family area.

Out of interest...behind goal or side?

Not a clue, never thought to ask.

With behemoth games like that, you can see why Sarcevic was so desperate to go there

I had to look up behemoth so thanks for the new word.

I think Sarce will get over playing at that level when he sees his pay slips.

5,500 at Stockport for their league match today. I suppose its flattering that a visit from Bolton sells out the home section days in advance

Drew with Bromley 1-1, the great Liam Trotter playing for Bromley.

Sarcevic also played.

I'm guessing that these two games are the first time in any of our lifetimes that we've played a 1st round game in front of 10,000 or so, home or away?  And as most non league/league 2 grounds don't hold 10k, is this the first time one of our FA Cup 1st or 2nd rounds has sold out?  Happy to be put right.

Taking me owd fella to this he’s very excited. Told him to curb it

Watched a bit of their game tonight and a Stockport defender had to leave the pitch after half an hour because he still had his watch on his wrist Shame Facepalm GIF by MOODMAN

I predict he hasn't got 3 games in a week so will be rested for us

I still think in 15 years time he’s going to sit down and wonder why the fuck he gave up captaining a club like ours to go and fuck about at Weymouth or Kings Lynn on a Tuesday night.

I’m not sure he had a choice

Lazy fat cunt can't even be arsed updating his twitter, so I doubt he'll be doing much critical thinking in the years to come

Only once he’d spat his dummy out. He still would have been with us if he’d picked his lip up and got on with getting back in the team rather than gobbing off.

Aye jury’s out for me on this one. I’m not sure if he’s in the right or the wrong with what’s gone on.

He was the best in the club at the job he was being asked to do

But, we are the best gig he's ever going to get, so don't be a dick

Sad how it ended

It was his doing if we believe the rumours. Still sad like but the blame lies with Sarce.

I thought the word was he hadn't been offered a contract on extension?

It still had 6 months to run, why would he be offered one?

Evatt has bombed him out.

He is the manager and I trust him to do whatever he thinks is right for the club.

Not at that point, but with 6 months left of the season and no shortage of playing time he could have easily knuckled down and earned one.

The same reason William, Lee and Thomason were?

That's if he was ever staying.

I think it had already been decided he wouldn't be.

Seems to be a few rumours on this

the one that comes up the most is of a fight  after the Plymouth game between IE & sarce and that the club had no choice to move him out and part of his leaving package was not to talk to the media for a certain time period

all come out in time I guess

They have all been offer a contract after he left. Maybe Sarc would have been offered a contract at the same time?

My understanding is that he was a bit of an arrogant cock who believed he should play 90m of any match he was fit for (as captain I suppose I get that).

Took great umbridge at any negatives given to him (again, understandable but stop reading social media then, or learn to slope it).

On extremely good money for the level & new contract would come with reduced terms. Again, understandable that he'd push back but it may be the best offer he had.

Not being selected to start at Plymouth, a former team where he wanted to impress, was his final straw. Yet again, I get that but it happens & a pro should suck it up.

Finally, talk of him being part of a good, old-school clique and some fall outs affecting the famous team morale. There's a fine line between strong bonds and a dominant clique.

I liked what I saw of him, I wish the blow-up hadn't happened and that he was still here but there should only be one winner when a fall-out goes beyond normal spats & sulks. I'm hoping Evatt's loss of patience was justified but while he's the manager Sharon's going to back him ... & rightly so.
