Just checked and there was allotment of shares earlier this year about 4.5 million and the one today is for 4.95 million, so it looks like a second new allotment of shares, 1 for the government loan and another one as yet undisclosed who it’s to. someone better qualified might be able to confirm. Mantra Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Interesting that the Swiss consortium that we were linked with actually did invest in the club. Not sure why Nick Luckock is the only registered director on CH but possibly just a delay in the filing or it's just a holding company through which to process the investment. Quote

Like he thought we were all stupid. Oh, well done, Ken for your generosity! Quote
Dr. Feelgood Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 One feature is that we clear a c£5m debt which, if not cleared by August would add another £1.7m ... that's some interest rate. The numbers, notwithstanding Covid etc., evidence that running a football club remotely honestly is a very expensive hobby. Quote

That’s an old loan from an existing director though, and he’s unlikely to call it in. Might do an equity exchange at some point. Quote

gonzo Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 Infrastructure is ace. Everything about it is ace. Apart from drinking establishments, especially for away fans. Hopefully this arc and fanzone solves a bit of that. Quote
waffer cup 07 Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 Bloody Tranmere ranked higher than us nationwide. Someones having a laugh. Quote
Big E Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 Tranmere’s match day experience is supposed to be brilliant. Some of my Wirral based chums (not Jules’ in-laws) are tranmere fans and go. They have ales, bands, live Matches before and after. Quick service with local bars helping out. we could learn from them Quote

We have over 13k season ticket holders and most games will generate a very low away turn out, the last thing we should be doing is accommodating away fans who already have a designated pub Quote
Biggish Dave Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Room for both. Away turn outs are quite low because it’s a crap away day unless you sup in Manchester or Chorley and get a late train in. Over time, yes get something sorted for visitors but getting the home fans catered for has to be priority Quote
radcliffe white Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Imo there’s too much demand from the home fans, yes this fanzone can hold is it 1k but that and the hotel won’t touch the sides For away fans they work at smaller grounds Wycombe being a good example but you don’t see many at the bigger grounds I’m guessing that’s due to the layouts and possible security/policing issues Quote
