Thank fuck its been extended to the end of feb!

Right, first time doing this, so what the fuckity do I need to know not to get ripped off by an accountant?

I'm getting a price off the company that does our PAYE, but I've a feeling it might be a bit pricey, although by tax affairs should be pretty simple over the past year.

When did you go self employed? The tax return due at the end of this month is last years (20/21).

I'd an accountant to sort it in conjunction with the company accounts. That'll be the most tax efficient way

I'm a fool, it is for last year when I was I PAYE. Had a minor panic then.

All good for another 12 months!

Try to register with HMRC within 3 months of commencing self employment and then you'll get your all important 10 digit tax reference number which you'll need when you do eventually complete your first tax return.

Use an accountant. The may well save you more than it costs.

They know the regulations and its their job to sort stuff for you.

Where is Biggish anyway?

He had a rant and a flounce near Christmas

He will be back, I hope
