  • Because when they refund people, they give them a discount off the next booking and people are too fucking stupid to realise they're having the piss taken from them. It's a bit like the Tory hand

Small deposit and a balance due date generally 10-12 weeks before departure depending on the vendor.

How and when you clear the balance is entirely up to you, so yes pay weekly/fortnightly/monthly/whenever.

Thank you, that's the answer I was looking for, and that helps massively.

That goes on her CSM!

We just got back from Lanzarote with Jet2 via Leeds.

Mentioned earlier the twilight drop off got us through security before any queues. No problems at all on way back in airport. Tail wind so home in 3.5 hours.

All pretty good tbf Jet2 have their shit together.

I like Jet2 but I also have a strange reluctance to try another airport other than Manchester despite it being a burning skip fire at the moment.

Liverpool is a shite to get to and Leeds I have never even considered in my life, I only found out this week they actually fly to quite a few destinations.

Id say dont hesitate using J2 from manc

Ill update when i get home tmrw

flying to Rhodes tomorrow with Ryanair

just got an email saying "do you have the mandatory doucmentation needed for your flight? upload your covid-19 documents for a quicker airport experience", then goes on to say "Bring your eu digital covid  certificate (digital/paper) or a negative covid-19 test results with you"

is this still a thing?

dunno why the eu digital covid  certificate, but suppose i coudl do the test thing if I can stil submit stuff via an app and get a passport or something

Just took 40 minites from touchdown to taxi

The missus point blank refuses to go another foreign holiday this year because our 2 year old is fookin hard work, so we are going to slum it over here. Has anyone been to Haven Cleethorpes? I’m already planning a weekend at the Haven in Poole as we’ve been there before however I wouldn’t mind a few days somewhere a little closer.

Isn’t a 2 year old hard work wherever you go on holiday!

Kids are ace aren't they?

You have left it well late for over here I would have thought but maybe Traf could sort you out?

We had 2 or 3 on our plane home

At least one squawking nearly all the way

Get a room. Stick the noise boxes in there with the parents

Why should i have to put up with it

Oh and if youve got a nut allergy, gtf

He probably could, but he does try not to get too involved in the UK market, where prices rival the Maldives and when the weather's shit as it is invariaably is, it becomes the agent's fault.

Too many UK vendors have taken the piss over recent years playing on the Covid worries of travellers and now the airport farce and they want more for a week in a caravan than i get a room in an all inclusive overseas.

However, I'd be more than happy to find something in the UK, should a client specify.

Jet 2 and Ryanair are the best at the moment according to the programme I’ve just seen on C5.   Advising to travel from the smaller airports as they’ve got the customer service to deal with travellers.

Go to Centre Parcs outside of term time . It costs a bit more but well worth it.  It sure if you have older ones of school age but still a world ahead of other places

Center Parcs over Haven all day every day

I agree with lots you say but you can fuck off with the nut allergy thing, it's not done for fun.

I have never been to Centre Parcs mainly because we could go to anywhere in half the world for the same price. Fuck they are expensive!
