Looking at a long girls weekend witht the girls in Albufeira. Close to bars and restaurants and not a shit hole. Im 35 now the 1* holiday apartments are a thing of the past. Anyone any recommendations?

Arrived 420, took about an hour to clear bag drop and security

Heathrow T3 - arrived at the terminal at 9.55. 20 mins later and I’m browsing the duty free.

This is often threatened to keep wages lower, but how about buisness take out from the top end and reduce some of their massive profits. Obviously not the case for a lot of small/medium sized buisness,  where price increases to cover wages might be necessary,  but plenty of large buisness where they are driving wages lower to drive profits.

It will never happen though as the shareholders rule

Flew back from Bristol Wednesday, a breeze. Delayed 20 mins. Took 25 mins to get through Malaga airport, including picking up cases.

Salhouse/Wroxham for 3 nights in August. Might have a gander to either Cromer or Great Yarmouth for the day. Anyone been to either?

Yes, the Jet2 twilight check-in was bob-on. Mrs dropped me at the door, drove to near the train station and hung about. I was in and out in 10 mins. Following morning we just had the security to get through. Thankfully they fast-tracked all the families….. or so we thought. We’d have been better off in the general queue as the amount of prams, wheelchairs, etc in our queue slowed us down. Overall not a bad experience.

Barcelona airport also a very good experience. Sailed through there as well.

And had no issues with the car hire / international DL either.

In Cromer for few nights last month. Good base to look around N Norfolk.

 

Recommendation for food; Red Lion; really nice. Monkfish.

Just back from a weekend in Krakow. Liverpool airport was excellent again.

Been to both, Yarmouth has more arcades and usual seaside shit. Prefer Cromer myself. But also check out Aldburgh or Southwold.

You also have the North Norfolk coast (brancaster, Blakeney, Cley etc) which is beautiful

I love Cromer, we go there a lot. Yarmouth is a massive shithole

Tui do but they are expensive and by most accounts pretty shite.

Jet2 are rarely the cheapest around, but are the best of the package carriers.
