Verve before they added 'The'

Holy Bible era Manics

The Who and Queen for their diversity

Shed Seven for their live sets, bangers and exceptional performance

Hang on.

You’re saying Shes Seven are better than The Smiths?

Get them to reform and I'll tell you... How do you define the best? Based upon four albums, or what they can do live?

What is the artistry? Surely you'd be measuring the band in a performance; otherwise you're looking at songwriters and producers. I love The Smiths; the melancholy and comedy collide in a mesmerising way, but the footage I've been exposed to is dated.

Sheds are one of the best gigs around. Stone Roses, Oasis, Courteeners have been meh on occasions I've seen them. I'd put them as one of the best British bands for their consistency playing live; performance and set list

On that basis James are up there. Stupendous early albums. Decent enough now.

Absolutely brilliant live and still packing gaffs out now.

Shite Seven - rubbish.

No PiL, Killing Joke, Sex Pistols, Joy Division - but Shed Seven?

I'd rather listen to Hear'say.

There’s an argument for some bands, but shed seven, Genesis

Fuck off

That's The Coral and OCS from 2000 onwards

The Coral are far from 'pedestrian'. Fucking mental band. Watching them live is like dropping acid.

Edit: Or maybe I'd just dropped acid every time I watched them live. That's possible.
