Them Wigan C **nts.

Ok fair fucks they won the league an’ all that, but tonight i had to endure a midnight train full of the turds on a train from Manc to Wigan with loads of feral scruffs singing “Bolton get battered” blah fucking blah.

They can enjoy their day in the sun, but we’re on our way back and our paths will no doubt cross again.

Karma.

Yes, they were popular. But Stock, Aitkin & Warerman were not the music industry. Football is an industry. One of the biggest on the planet.

SA&W were to music what Wrexham are to football.

What I was trying to say is just because something is popular doesn't necessarily mean it's good.

Yes I understand that. But SA&W and their bank managers couldn't care less. At least you didn't contribute to their private jets.

This sums my thoughts up when it looked like we well might have disappeared.

Wankers asking me who I'd support. Fckg nobody pal, that's who.

Aye similar, couldn't believe we'd got to the stage where I was seriously considering how I'd spend weekends during the season.

Got kind of blasé about it, oh I'll just sink all the cash into watching football around Europe and ticking bucket list stadiums and cities off. But I only really like doing that knowing I always have the tether of my own club in the background.

It would have been miserable, might still have had two or three factions of phoenix clubs fighting amongst themselves right now as well.

So 2 of the 3 directors have resigned. It’s not going to end very well this 🤞🤞

Bleating about how it should have been run sustainably

There does appear an air of arrogance and delusion about their standing and stature.

Realisation is slowly dawning upon them though.

Admin has been the most likely destination for a long time.. no tears shed here… hope they never return.

I hope they go bust but probably for different reasons. It would be shit to play em like when we were fucked with the kids. I found the teams oppositions we played (especially tranmere) embarrassing. It’s daft when it’s not a sporting contest.

That last line, to preserve the future of this proud football club. 😀

What a great summer this going to be.

Does make me laugh that the statement effectively says they've been lied to by the owners... but wouldn't hesitate to come back and work with then again in future if the cash landed.

It's not, y'know.

It's much talked about, it gets huge media attention, millions of people follow it but look at tje value of a typical club, even big clubs, & the turnovers.

Compare these with Companies, often with low profiles & they barely scratch the surface.

Ok It's big but not as big as bigger and very bigger.

You've got it.

All going as we’d like.

Bleak for them.

Splendid

Stock, Aitkin & Waterman were incredibly popular, didn't stop them being the shitest of the shite though.

Some will always prefer cricket or golf etc to football.

Since the dark days of the 80s empty terraces, the current attendances are superb. Since covid I've not enjoyed the games as much, as it seems some of the 80s behaviours have crept back, but numbers are still strong.

Something is working.

I started taking my step lad to games from about that age. Living in Leeds there were other more local options. He is 24 now and loves it. You need to start the brain washing early.

I’m trying Ani, believe me I’m trying. 🥴

Well, those details allow extrapolation of their situation.

The 125% bond is £2.34m

So a month's wage is £1.88m

x 13 month's, as they pay 28 daily, that's £24,440,000m pa.

If they sort everything out they're already on -8pts & counting & due to pay £6.1m out of whatever funds they get (if any) straight away.

Lovely, &, as they say, jubbly.

I love that the owners promised three sums, ranging from £700k to £20m. There's nowt like having a contingency.

They've spoken before about reducing the wagebill, I'm not sure whether it's 'by' ⅓ or 'to' ⅓.

These sums, from £24.4m will be to a wagebill of either £8.12m & £16.25m.

If the above £6.1m (so £2.12m or £20.15m) has to come out of it even the top line £20m being put in isn't going very far. Especially as their miniscule fan base isn't able to fund the operation and they have precious little of value to sell.

... & this is

a. Taking them at face value

b. Giving them maximum numbers.

Tick ️ Tock.

And have they paid HRMC is the next question.

Didn’t they say that wages would be 65% lower than last year? It seems they’re hoping for money from a sell on clause for Robinson if the move happens and the sale of a couple of players when the window opens. Seems to me they’re looking to stretch it out, get what they can in and do a runner. If that’s so it’s more liquidation like Bury than Administration.

If they were flying over the Bermuda triangle I would have 😁

This months wage bill will include bonuses and any annual payments so might be on the high side but if they have £0 what is a few million between friends
