Wigan vs Bury next season please It’s quite the place for entertaining literature at the moment. Here’s a snippet from someone who can write. Quote If this is genuinely the person we're pinning of hopes on then we are well and truly finished,He owns a cash and carry selling pop, what the hell are the EFL going to say when our plan arrives on their desk, he's known to them as he failed to supply any proof of funds when trying to buy Morecambe simply because he doesn't have any.Al Jasmi must have known this and yet still told the SC and Lisa Nandy we had a viable buyer, sorry but we're gone!! Moderators Carlos Posted June 5, 2023 Moderators Posted June 5, 2023 Wigan can't go to the league Bury are in. The FA has already issued allocations. Quote

Duck Egg Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 I don't know what credibility Kendrick had with the Wigan fans before all this but he can't have much left now. Quote

Dr. Feelgood Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Y'know the 'do you want them to wriggle like a trapped beast for a bit... or to crash & burn & disappear forever" conundrum we've been having ? ... & y'know the concept of "you'll only know your true feelings once the coin toss drops & you either say 'great' or 'let's makevit best out of three' idea" ? Well this saviour riding in over the hill decided for me. I want the fckrs gone. Quote

He tweeted this morning that the sale of the club had been agreed, heads of terms etc and knew who it was but obviously didn't do even a basic journalist check or a quick Google search. His later tweet he confirmed this was the name he'd been told and seemed taken aback by all the tics kicking off and his previous failed Morecambe takeover Quote

Duck Egg Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Just had a look on Morecambe ways. According to them this bloke hadn't actually failed the EFL test, it was still pending after 3 months before he's suddenly been linked with Wigan. He paid Morecambe's wages for the last 2 months too. More on Twitter shows him to be erm, an interesting chap. Quote

He’s got some dough, this lad. Would be very disappointing if he does swoop in and pay the bills etc… Wouldn’t rule it out by any means. He’s young and daft enough. He may have some dosh available in "cash". Hardly confirms him as fit and proper. Maybe we (WW) should have a whip round and put a bid in? Quote
Gonk Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 I'd prefer the HMRC to come knocking on their door saying 'we want our cash' now. Quote
