NZ circling like sharks, Broad swinging but not connecting cleanly but it's going all over - and now he's caught - which has looked inevitable since he came in.

Just the rabbits left and NZ odds on favourites to clean up. Looked like we were in with a chance until Stokes and Root went.

Foakes and Leach at the crease - with only Jimmy to come.

An unlikely 43 needed.

If there's anyone in test cricket I wouldn't mind losing to by 1 run it's NZ. Anyone else I would be seriously pissed off.

I’d imagine I’d be kicking the dog around the room if it had been th’Aussies.

The downside of Bazball

It's to be expected when always taking the aggressive option I suppose

The silver lining is that a match like today is good for Test cricket as a whole

I reckon so.

I doubt he’d have declared and enforced the follow on against the Aussies.?.

I wouldn't bet against it

Nothing I've seen from this England team suggests to me they won't look to be aggressive no matter the opposition

Thinking about it, I guess it would depend on the context of the series. 2-0 with 2 to play, I’d be batting forever. Slowly.
