Anyone felt the pinch yet?

Notice a good proportion of my hotels are quiet this week. But with the jubilee round the corner and pride the week after maybe folk are simply saving their trips for that.

Cant help but feel the media are driving a lot of it. They seem hell bent on us heading into a recession. Making people panic and stop spending.

They should be telling everyone its all gravy.

Only area Ive felt it is diesel. £154 to fill my van the other day. That's taking the piss.

That’s 5 less folk eating all our food, no lights and TVs left on for no reason, the thermostat staying at 16C rather than whacked up at 25C because someone’s “a bit chilly”, no hot taps left running and draining the tank, and even better than all the cost savings……….PEACE AND FUCKING QUIET to watch the F1 and some footy

It pays to shop around, the difference can be huge and they all do the same job at the end of the day.

There is a changeover period to swap old-style ones. Meanwhile you can use up old stamps bought at previous rates this year.

The only month I don't have a birthday to send to is Feb! Have to be on it or else I'll get family shamed.

Use stamps a lot at work. The new ones freaked me out at first, particularly as first class aren’t red any more. Thought they’d ordered the wrong ones at first. 

I'm finding that families who'd normally book two £5k holidays a year are now having one at around £7k and it's no better than one their old £5k jobs.

So, I'm obviously missing out on commission from the the £3k.

Does that include a wine cooler or a beer fridge? (We have both).
