We had a decent thread a while back discussing Evatt’s philosophies and approach to the game (think it got tainted and pulled)

So not a bad time to start it up again at the beginning of the season.

In the main he’s done a fantastic job. A minority lost patience round about Xmas/New Year in both seasons. 

But surely now he has the large backing of the majority of fans and the brand he talked about implementing here is now well and truly established.

Good article above highlighting how he’s using Sport Science to get the squad performing to it’s optimum level.

A young, meticulous, intelligent and passionate individual, who we are very lucky to have leading our club.

I hope he gets what he deserves with promotion to the Championship.

Although it's tempting to pass judgement now It's probably not realistic, even though we all need something to chew the fat over on another international break, to judge any signing till we've finished the season. Only then would we truly know the impact they've made or value they've given

As you say its just idle chat while we await the next match...but there's never a time we truly know the impact players have made, its all down to individual opinions.  We'll still have differing opinions on here about Matete, Schon, Cogley, Vic, McAtee etc in May, nothing wrong with that!

Re. Maghoma, the hurting thing is that he returned to Brentford but hasn't even got a place on their playing squad & hasn't played one minute of league football.

He'll probably go out on loan again in January. ... we won't get near him.

I know what you’re saying.

You have to have a very good filter.

I would say 80-90% of the stuff in FB and X is tosh.

But if you sift through and ignore you can find some gems.

The #bwfc is good for articles, videos and occasional insight.

That FB page is a little more tricky to navigate to avoid the shite. But for example over the weekend that stuff on Evatt taking the players out to Manchester with some photos was interesting.

As has been said before though. We aren’t to be bothered by their personal lives apparently and that extends to staff parties. It is just a job at the end of the day

Everyone knows what the problem is, old men proclaim it with their death rattle, and unborn children proclaim it in their mothers’ wombs. They proclaim it in Breightmet and they proclaim it in Bromley Cross. No one wants him for their manager anymore.

Well, he didn't know what went wrong at Wembley and he isn't sure why we still keep having issues....I sense a pattern emerging here

If he doesn’t know what the problem is then we are well in shit creek !

Hopefully we don’t loose on Saturday but if we do I think those words will come back to haunt him
