ErnestTurnip
I know there's one in Darwen but does anyone know of any petrol stations in Bolton that do AdBlue at a pump and how much they are charging?

Can't say I've seen any. Usually they just sell the plastic containers.
Members DazBob
Aye, no need for a pump. Just buy it in a plastic container from pretty much any petrol station.
ErnestTurnip
I normally do just buy a container but was wondering if it was available and cheaper at a pump. I do get that trying to save a tenner every few months might make me seem a tight cunt though.
Farrelli
Lorries get it out of a pump but not sure they are suitable for cars. I would pay a little more at the pump to reduce the hassle and save on plastic waste.
gregbwfc
One on Chorley New Road in Horwich, think its Texaco ? Sorry, can't remember what it cost, over a quid a litre though.
Traf
A lot of the newer Shell garages do it.

ErnestTurnip
For the sake of completeness, 149.9 a litre at Texaco in Horwich.

For comparison, between £1.85 and £2.10/ltr in a 10 ltr drum.

Not included on a service. It’s a fuel supplement so up to you to put in and pay for. And for gods sake don’t let it get to zero miles. Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted August 16, 2022 Site Supporter Share Posted August 16, 2022 Even if a place put it in as part of a service, I'd be wary of the price charged. Remember when one place used to put some washer fluid into the tank, and charge the bloody earth. Used to tell them not to bother after that. ErnestTurnip
Not all cars have it near the fuel fill, mine is in the boot for some brilliant reason.
