Starmer hasn't jailed anyone you balloon, and nobody has been jailed for 'having the temerity to speak'. The Courts have jailed people for attacking police, destroying property, looting shops, and inciting other racists to kill people and burn down buildings.

Once you get over the initial shock, consider the benefits. Jail cells would not be at a premium any more. Summary executions would see to that. We have plenty of tall buildings, rivers for ducking cages etc. The entire rainbow nation problem would likely disappear.

I think this could be revolutionary and could well appeal to the likes of Starmer and his hypocrites?

Strangely - I saw the same story (and thought the same thing). 

I think one of the people they interviewed said they were "treated like an animal" by their white colleagues. And it was all anonymous - with no right to reply or contextualisation. 

Another interviewee mentioned something like "people stare at me funny because I look different to them" or words to that effect. That's so incredibly subjective. I'm not sure where you even go with that? Even if it were a true reflection. 

The way the story was written made me feel really uneasy. Like you say - it's not a research study of how black and ethnic employees of the MET feel. It's presumably sought out people who harbour these feelings and then tried to paint them as a representative sample. 

And I don't think that was made explicit enough in the piece.
