Too late for these though, they’re often most vulnerable just after the relationship has ended. Aye, interesting this. As we’re often more horrified by it happening to women because of the power dynamic. But a lot of men are manipulated & groomed into gangs. County lines is absolutely rife ATM, they're using stations near schools fir easy transfers.

John Honey, 25, was wearing a distinctive St George's Cross T-shirt when he was seen carrying bagfuls of cosmetics out of the Lush store as it was ransacked on 3 August. He also took goods from the O2 and Shoezone shops and later attacked a car carrying three Romanian men. Honey also targeted a garage, leaving nine vehicles damaged, and pushed bins at police, Hull Crown Court heard. The 25-year-old "played a prominent role" in 12 hours of violence and unrest that gripped the city while wearing a "distinctive" England flag T-shirt, prosecutors had said. Honey, of Park Grove, Hull, pleaded guilty to violent disorder and three charges of burglary. He also admitted racially aggravated criminal damage of the BMW and damaging the vehicles at the garage.
August 16, 20242 yr A sentencing hearing earlier in the week was adjourned after a prison probation officer said Honey had asked him “if he wanted his autograph because he was famous”, which the court heard could have undermined Honey’s claim of being “genuinely remorseful”.
August 16, 20242 yr John Honey, 25 25 😂 Imagine how rough he's going to look at our age. Taking back our gingerbread men, one by one.

August 18, 20242 yr https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c15gn0lq7p5o See where they're going, but is this a step too far? Be interesting to see where the line is that becomes misogony, that said I've seen some of the toxic masculinity that's skittering round ATM and it's vile.
August 18, 20242 yr Tommys tax affairs being examined, Farage finances declared and admits largely paid via a company. Tice moving investments off shore. But people still think these grifters give a fuck about anything other than themselves. Cue people justifying it by saying 'but others do it.' (whataboutery)

I think the headline immediately gives pause for thought but the details are actually the right approach. We have a rise in extremism and identifying what that is what the causes are and how we can prevent it I think it’s important. It definitely needs a significant update to deal with 2024 not 2010.

August 19, 20242 yr ive asked this before but seeing as govt are getting shit for giving in to unions, i have a question ive asked before and didn't get an answer why are govt deciding what to offer ASLEF when they work for private companies? fwiw, im sick of everything being broken, maybe less worried about the trains as i rarely use them (i acknowledge their value to the economy, perhaps moreso in the SE), but if wages in the NHS arent sufficient to satisfy key staff, something needs doing
