I would imagine there are several factors.

I'm convinced mire than ever, that the ready availability of porn plays a part. In particular certain areas.

Unnatural behaviours being normalised.

Be interesting to see the racial/nationality profile of the reported offenders too.

Of course that will ruffle a few feathers, but there may well be some correlation.

I would imagine the big rise in misogyny fuelled by online extremism is one of the biggest factors sadly.

Knob heads like Andrew Tate don't help either.

That was one of the people I meant driving it.

Granted, it may in part be due to increased reporting, and it is "police recorded" offending rather than number of convictions, but surely that alone doesn't account for such a high increase

Mate of my cousin is a detective in Bolton

Ends up working with and around various police districts around greater Manchester

And they all think Bolton is the worst and busiest area for rape and assault, in particular round Bradshawgate

All probably factors, I'd imagine

And also the fact that the percentage of rape convictions has continued to fall and sentencing is so lenient, likely meaning serial offenders remain free to commit offending

Round the corner from me this. Was unfortunate enough to see the video.

He's a marked man this lad.

my dog bolted last night- didnt shut the door properly and was gone. causing havoc, slowing traffic; a kind hearted stranger and i eventually got him- no lead, just a couple of treats...

i'm talking a 5 stone dalmatian

said stranger drives off; couldnt keep him by the scruff of his neck, couldnt carry him... had to drag him back last 500 yards by his collar. he did not want to move knowing his fun was over. almost slipped his collar, which wouldve meant the fun starts again, so held him down to secure it and called him a nobhead

next thing some busy prick in an audi a3 does a 180, starts giving me a shit load of abuse, calling me a fat c#nt, demands my address and starts filming- doesnt offer to help, and when i suggested that offered to fill me in

i'm waiting for the video to surface, then i can report him for using his phone behind the wheel

blood boiling

This conviction business is a weird one.

Are more coming forward, but some time afterwards, meaning potential evidence is lost?

Dunno about sentence length- can't say I've seen too much about that- but if it's anything like other offences, then they'll be low.

countries fucked

We agree. Sad to see but we have been a victim of our own generosity.

I'll keep mentioning the opportunities when they arise. A nephew arrived here 4 weeks ago. Unskilled so my son got him on as a Trades Assistant/Labourer where he is the Operations Manager.

Within 3 weeks he was up to the Pilbara on an iron ore site to help realign some conveying systems and stuff as part of a team of 20 blokes working on a maintenance shutdown. He got his wage packet last Friday. $8,400 + in his hand for one week up there.

Loving life and already saying he isn't ever coming back.

Easier to blame the foreigners that we’ve been generous to though isn’t it?

Can't do that.

They have, to a man, woman and child, all made huge contributions to society.

Not a criminal, waster etc between them.

Brilliant governance allowed them all in.

Would you have posted that on here if it was three white lads? Still three cunts like.

The fact it's another grooming jobby probably makes it more topical.

Seems a bit odd to me that someone in a Bolton forum is posting news like that from the other end of the country. I’m in danger of sounding like Cheese now 😀

sarcasm aside,

you know I'm not daft enough to think every immigrant that has arrived in recent times is an angel.

You're also not daft enough to believe that the biggest problems we face in modern times are caused by foreigners 👍
