I hate saying this, but I don’t think I’m going tomorrow. Been to every one before this. I’m admitting to my contradictory outlook to this competition, brought about by this fucking awful fixture.

Against the other u21 sides I was able to block out my displeasure of the u21 sides being part of it and merely seeing these games as an opportunity to see our team perform against some young talented lads while trying to get to Wembley.

There are other reasons; the WC semi, kid commitments, cold night (scraping the barrel here - this never really puts me off)….. but I’ve got to be honest it’s playing them red fucking urinal fuckers, bringing 3000 or whatever, taking the piss that’s really putting me off. What’s our response going to be? If it’s anything like those dicks on the Shrewsbury bus probably about 30 youth singing Munich songs in retort. Even if we win there’s zero bragging rights, lose and it’s another big piss take.

Playing them on an equal footing is a different ball game altogether.

We just need to beat them and get through to the next round.

Might feel different tomorrow and force myself to go.

I'm similarly conflicted, but I will get round to buying a ticket and go tomorrow no doubt.  

The pisstake won't be fun, but nothing on the scale of that 0-6 defeat in 95/96, unless it's a similar score tomorrow.......

3000 of them will put £30k into our bank a\c and presumably another 3k (maybe more) will buy our ifollow feed for another £30k, so maybe we'll make £100k plus prize money whilst progressing one step closer to Wembley😃

It costs about £6k to turn the floodlights on and staff the stadium tonight.

This is going to be a low point for all concerned tonight, that's for sure. Like @desperadoalluded to, it's a no win situation for us this tonight. I want us out of this ASAP, but not to these.

it is a no win situation; we just suck it up and crack on. i've been hoodwinked in to going by the lad- purely cos half his mates will be there and he doesnt want to miss out

I won two tickets for tonight but now can't make it.

I've emailed the ticket office to see if I can transfer them as they need to be picked up using ID. If they say I can then who wants them?

If the DMB u21s were playing in my back garden i would shut the curtains 

 

Hoping to watch Croatia beat the argies instead.
