  1. Couldn't have wished for a better summing up.
  2. Do they build storm shelters into basements of houses- somewhere that will withstand the wind, if roofs and walls are going everywhere.
  3. Blackshaw brook was around a foot up on yesterday. Seems a bit trite considering Irma, but we had some rain overnight.
  4. You've gone soft down there. Its rained like fuck overnight and early doors, but hardly cold.
  5. Put a coat and wellies on them and go round rivi or some such. Won't be many about, kids seem to love wazzing sticks and stones in water, and its free.
  6. Alreet for ironing on, I suppose. A female NiC.
  7. I'm a sucker for a north east accent.
  8. So he might still be a better option then? A good, experienced guy to have around. BSA took him to west ham, so he must have a bit about him.
  9. Aye. And presumably they'll be moving the aircraft away before the storm comes. Quite easy to fill them before hand.
  10. Wouldn't touch naga with someone else's. High maintenance, and full of herself I reckon. Steph seems like a fun loving lass.
  11. Aye, possibly, but survive this season and maybe there's hope.
  12. I can sense another Stephen Hawking video; one where he and some lads effect some piss laden revenge on said referee.
  13. I got the impression he meant the Caribbean islands. Either way, its the responsibility of anyone and everyone who can help when dealing with stuff like this. Tyldesley helped folk and other folk helped folk. Didn't turn round and say fuck that, its the job of the emergency services. Alright it would cost the airlines a fair bit, but you'd hope intelligent and compassionate people would put that to one side, at least temporarily, to evacuate people and then maybe get some financial assistance from the government later.
  14. Absolutely disgraceful that. Should be evacuating folk for nowt. Dealing with lives here.
  15. Mourinho portrays arrogance and everyone loves him. Allardyce does it and he's a cunt. If sam hadn't pushed himself he'd have just been the manager that did well with little old Bolton. It was his self confidence and his double act with pg that brought our success. They put the club on the map again. Yeah it all went to shit, but I'd grin like fook listening to them on the radio, raising the club's profile.
  16. Aye, never mind the 220 mph ones.
  17. Rather have deryk than pratley, but certainly not both.
  18. Bloody nasty crash yesterday- car parked after a sharp bend.
  19. Yeah. A few mines beyond the boundary rope might help.
  20. Interesting this chap at forest green. A huge environmentalist, vegan ground etc. he wants to build a new stadium entirely from wood, no concrete. Will they be having a minutes' composting?
  21. For all the errors that may have been made, I agree mounts. Great times. Kids wearing Bolton tops in town instead of those of the big boys.
  22. Seen some aerial pics earlier from one island. Virtually nowt left standing. Only commented the other day that guys putting shuttering over windows might be pissing in the wind. Hopefully it won't put off too many holiday makers in the future as they're going to need the income.
  23. To be fair smiley, there was a similar question raised re the floods in Bangladesh compared with Houston. A news bod explained that safety, logistics etc were taken into account when reporting such stuff. Its probably easier and safer to report from Florida that a small Caribbean island.
  24. They're from a place in county Durham. Been going on holiday there for around 23 years on and off. Its a working farm, where they breed one litter at most in any one year. Used to use them for working but now as pets. I've known many of their ancestors, including grandparents and parents. All very soft and friendly. The pups have got used to people straight away, each day they'd be let out to play and every one would fuss them. To be honest wouldn't have bought pups in any other situation.
