In court today with his dad for assault on a bouncer . Back in crown court in February cctv evidence could be sentenced to 12 months in prison both pleaded not guilty.

In fairness that may be down to what’s in his contract. A lot of companies consider it gross misconduct and can sack you for being convicted of a crime like this.

Depends on the amount of adverse publicity it gets , club should ride it out say he’s apologetic etc .& not throw him under the bus for PR purposes .

I’m not holding my breath , but at least it’s not sexual or racist so maybe just maybe the club will hold their nerve.

Kyle Dempsey is worth too much to the club as a transfer asset for them to cast him aside.

He'll play wearing a tag like Pennant did years ago and he should be able to get dispensation for night games.

Any dispensation must come from the judge, if he breaches he will go to jail, his probation officer will probably be a Carlisle fan so the sooner they transfer his case to Bolton the better

Some bloke knocked Kyle out on the street and legged it into that club.
Kyle and his dad went after him 5 mins later, doorman blocked his entry by gripping him by the throat leading to Kyle punching him.

Did well to get the coppers there that quickly too, seems a bit fishy.

I'm not sure there's a moral line between him playing for us while awaiting sentence and him playing for us after being sentenced
