I asked microsoft's free one to generate an image of "a bolton wanderers fan called Casino". Now to be fair to it, it's done a half decent job 😃

saw this was posted on a tweet that makes it look like it's gone rogue

GvXfcZDX0AAg9rC?format=jpg&name=small

however, it was just answering to a prompt

GvXlrKDXYAAdA_7?format=jpg&name=large

like all things AI, it's all about the prompt, the input, from the user that drives the output

it didn't just decide to call itself that

Aye but it's been funny to watch. 😁

Bit more to it than a leading prompt

I hope so. It sounds promising. AI has the capacity to absolutely revolutionalise healthcare. And we desperately need new antibiotics.

My gaffer has just invested a lot of his hard earned into some form of AI app that’s used to take photos of moles and it will determine if they’re cancerous…….or something along those lines.

Yeah - there's loads of things on the horizon for things like this. Faster diagnostics and so on.

I think in 50 years time there will be far fewer managers and Dr's. AI will be able to diagnose and develop treatment plans more quickly and more accurately based on observations and blood results.

Human beings can get on with the compassionate side - allowing nurses to go back to being nurses and caring for people rather than filling out paperwork. That's the bit I don't think AI will ever be able to replace. Meaningful interactions with patients.

There's such amazing potential for AI if we utilise it correctly!

I had a small surgery this morning, a big Greek surgeon introduced himself before my procedure, the most beautiful lady I have seen (apart from my maud obviously) introduced herself after, she was also part of the team. She fingered my arse today. I’m still not sure if I’m happy or mortified.  Please please never have this type of surgeon replaced. (The Greek can go)

This is a heartwarming story! I'll take it to the board tomorrow and see if we can have it put up on a billboard outside A&E 😂

Good to hear

I do worry about loss of jobs, but like you say. It’s about careful management & reducing bureaucracy.

Question is,

Can AI stop the boats ?

Honestly sat here wondering what the fuck you were about. Then I realised. I wish I was making this up.

Who makes the AI?

Reading the other day that it uses a shit ton of water & energy. May end up not being sustainable

Read that people were being encouraged to delete old emails to save water as the data centres or whatever they are called use a shit load of water for cooling

Seemed a bit bizarre at first

aye, it's like anything hosted on a server really, google, amazon, netflix, spotify etc etc

they need to be powered to keep running under intense high demand, lots of data centres with lots of processing power

you can basically help reduce the carbom emissions of AI by not being polite and starting with a "hello, good day, how are you " message and ending with "thank you" etc

most people do, two unecessary posts

I offer my clients a service to reduce the carbon emissions of their websites

Recently worked on a Microsoft data centre in Holland... the shed was two storeys and 500m long and packed with energy consuming servers... all so that we can store our mobile phone pictures
