They scored at the Lever End as well , think it was Fazakerley their centre-back from a corner.

We had the last laugh though going up as champions.

Yep, think it was. Bit of a thorn in our side Fazak, silenced thousands of Lever enders. Alls well that ends well tho!

Aye. That’s been me for the last few seasons. Got a network going now and turns out a few of us having been going on our own without knowing that others have been there as well. And I’ve dipped out many a time thinking that I couldn’t be bothered sat there on my own

I watched the game back the other week , we were the better team but they had a good chance at 0-0. A header. Then Matt Clarke made a good save.

Our 2 late goals flattered us IMO.

The joy on Nats face the end was brilliant. Sharon was similar last week.

Agreed 3-0 flattered us but looking at the line ups on the day, ours had plenty of players that proved themselves in the Prem, PNEs line up was championship level and no more.  We had Bergsson, Gardner, Charlton, Nolan, Frandsen, Holdsworth, Elliott, Ricketts.

In those play offs we were 2-0 down at WBA in the 1st leg (as we were at Wolves a few years earlier).  We then scored 8, scoring in 5 consecutive halves of football, without conceding another.  Fully deserved to go up.

I think we could see quite a few changes tomorrow, some that he will have planned for post Wembley and so close after playing Exeter and some forced upon him with injury.

                          Trafford

           Jones.   Johnston.  Mbete

Bradley.   Morley. Thomason.  Williams

                            Lee

             Adebeyejo.   Nlundulu

People delighted that R Williams will start 🤣. But if Johns fatigued/poorly I can’t see Evatt going with anyone else. The other defenders have to play, not much option there,

Dempsey and Sheehan have put some miles in last few weeks so could be a pre-planned rest for them - Thomason and Lee most likely replacements for me.

I think if Jerome is fit he gets the nod, but I’m assuming he’s not again with no involvement at all Friday, so it will be no surprise to see Charles and Kachunga rested.

I think he will stick with the same 11 that started at Exeter but if Declan is unwell then Randell Williams will start. He might risk Shoretire instead of Sheehan but I wouldn’t

Shoretire as an impact sub for me. Let him tear up through generally tired legs.

From Wembley to Exeter over 5 days I get it, he stuck with the same side where he could.

But 2 days with all the football, travelling, fatigue and emotion of the last week I’d be amazed if he stuck with the same 11.

I don't think we're in a position to start rotating / restinge

These are pro athletes who had two weeks off before the PJ final

They'll be fine, strongest xi possible

“It is about choosing the right players for the right game, that is what’s important,” he added. “Every game will offer something different.

“The away game at Exeter will look completely different to the home game against Cambridge, so we have to pick a team accordingly really.“

What do you think he means by this then?

I agree. We should be resting 2/3 players. As well as allowing Charles, Morley, Dempsey to recharge it gives others game time and we will need them all to be sharp in the next month.

The only players guaranteed to start for me are Traf and the central defenders purely because we have no options there but can they survive another 7 games without a break, that’s what concerns me let alone any potential injuries or suspensions. Shame that we don’t seem to have any options in the B Team either. Going to be a tough run in.

It reads to me like he's making a tactical point more than anything
