I saw loads of folk at Wembley who i’ve not seen at home games since the Prem days.

Theres a possibility we might be coming back into fashion with the deserters.

I reckon that Papa Johns victory could add another thousand or 2 season tickets sold.

I’d imagine a lot more of the kids who may have been bitten by the BWFC bug at Wembley and are now haranguing their parents for more of that feeling more than ex-attendees coming back. Perhaps the kids’ parents and the lapsed fans are the same folk.

We've been up and down like a bride's nightie for years, always providing entertainment, controversy and something worth fighting for. We're so lucky to still have this club and to be able to keep adding to it's incredibly rich history.

Complacency could be our worst opponent tomorrow.

Got to go for the throat, get it won, then make changes as required.

These have turned things round and have a chance of staying up. Just beat Vale away and Fleetwood at home yesterday- not going to be easy- agree we need to go all guns blazing and don’t fuck about at the back

When you consider whats happened to us as a football club just since we beat Preston North End in the 2000/01  season and look at whats happened to preston ...

2000/01 Lost play off final to Bolton

2004/05 Lost another Play off final

2010/11  Relegated to League 1

2014/15 Won League 1 Play off Final

It makes you appreciate how fortunate we are to have some excitement in our football lives ...

Yes its been bad for us at times , but would not have it any other way

I bet that causes issues for folk who've sat in same seats for years.  Your kid/grandkid/nephew wants a ticket, there's none available around you.  Then you have to decide whether to move to a different stand, away from the fans you've sat with for years, or tell them to get their own seats when they're old enough!

Nearly as excited to see what Monday's gate is as I am about the match itself. This level of enthusiasm in the town is not a commonplace thing. It was present at various stages in the mid to late 70s and then around the 2003-05 period when it became clear we were going to make a serious impression on the top flight. For this to happen in third tier football is remarkable and will be a solid base for the club whenever Championship football arrives.

Over 33,000 on Burnden against Blackburn in 1973 in the third division. 42,000 against City the same season I think. The foundations for the years that followed were set by Jimmy Armfield and his young Wanderers side, Garry Jones et al.

Well then this current feeling clearly has a flavour of 1973. Even with an ex Blackpool player as our boss!
