Looking at those highlights again we were poor at Barnsley and need to be better than that

We weren't especially poor - we've certainly played a lot worse than that - but we were helped enormously by only having to play against 10 men for 80 minutes - and some astute play from JDB. But I agree we'll have to be a lot better on Saturday as Barnsley are a good team and are very dangerous.

Never felt more relaxed ahead of a big game.

We’ve got this

3-1, then  1-1

Win, draw, win minimum requirement for promotion.

Against teams weve got points off this season. Two of em we twatted.

Easy.

Surprised how many seats are still available. This is a play of semi final people of Bolton. In the words of Blessed Delia Smith (makes the sign of the cross) “Where are you? Where are you?”

I think it’s just a reminder of how big our ground actually is

I wonder whether the club are pleased (as they claim) or on the quiet disappointed with take-up for the home leg.  Given no lower tier segregation there must be around 26k tickets available for home fans, so realistically were we ever going to sell that many? No way.  I reckon we’ll do well to sell 23k so looking 25k overall with Barnsley.  We probably didn’t need the SSL……

All SSL is now "greyed" out

Weird; must have decided to stop selling them in there whilst there are load’s available in the North stand

Could we live in hope that they are doing what they should have done in the first place - say to Barnsley, will give you 2/3k more if you do the same for us?

People didn’t want that tho to lose advantage of a home game

Some did, but I don’t know why - both teams have played well/badly in front of big away followings - get people in to watch the game - how many people are pissed off now they can’t go next week?

If we are talking advantages  - as a player I’d rather play towards a packed end (home or away) not empty seats. Then in the away leg a following of 5k behind our goal would be fantastic

If both clubs had 4/5,000 backing them away.

Barnsley will probably only have 12-15,000 home fans at an absolute maximum. We will have at least 22,000

We have a much bigger ground and bigger support

Christ knows what’s going on - also now seem to be more tickets released/available in ESU and WSU than there were a few hours ago.  Must be some guy pressing random buttons somewhere at Ticketmaster.  Really unfair for folk buying tickets then seeing an hour later better ones available.

Seemed to work fine against Sunderland last season.

Could they not just split the south lower like we used to do? Surely everyone would be happy with that. They get afew more tickets without giving a whole end up

We've stopped selling seats in the Southstand in order to prioritise selling the remaining seats in other areas

Just seen the weather tomorrow. 19 degrees and completely blue skies.

Come on Wanderers fans, this is more important than Wembley!

Was surprised why they didn’t fill other areas before opening south

It’s one of two things

- They genuinely thought we’d sell out after Wembley and recent surge. But there were plenty of us with experience of Semis in the past that said it would be max 24/25

- It was some show of “stick that up your arse” to Barnsley/EFL  we are going to use part of South Stand so you can’t have it.

Whichever way it was misguided and has proven to be an awful decision leaving thousands of us pissed off we can’t go to the away leg.

The 2,000 agreement was Barnsley's request.
Even if we gave then 4,800, they still only wanted to give us 2,100.
