The Aussies beat England ladies in a friendly not too long ago. The first (maybe only?) team to beat us since the manager took the job.

Hope it's not an omen.

Both Spain and Sweden are ranked higher than England so I guess it's a good draw as the Sheilas are ranked marginally lower.

Still shuddering from the coffee I bought at the ground a few years back. It was chuffing bovril. Gave it away.

Whilst I love a drop of fine gravy with a meal, "beef tea" is purely rank.

In sport, over the years, the Aussies have had the edge on us more than we have had over them. But they just fucking love beating us. No matter what sport. They are more obsessed than the Scotch. That said it will be very sweet indeed if we do them in their own backyard tomorrow when all the country are watching them. I'm actually quite looking forward to this match.

Two outrageous strikes in the game and a well battled finish, been an entertaining enough game.

I've definitely needed to switch to watching with a very different mentality to get to an enjoyment level, but since I have I really do enjoy the football England try to play and some impressive players for the level.
