In addition, further sanctions may be imposed in the case of a direct red card. Who’d have thought it ey 😂 Did you see Trump’s Women’s World Cup rant? Priceless “The ‘shocking and totally unexpected’ loss by the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team to Sweden is fully emblematic of what is happening to the our once great Nation under Crooked Joe Biden. Many of our players were openly hostile to America - No other country behaved in such a manner, or even close. WOKE EQUALS FAILURE. Nice shot Megan, the USA is going to Hell!!! MAGA.” Edited August 8, 2023 by London Wanderer Quote

No idea about real life as I'm house bound right now, only reason I've watched so much of it to be honest. There's one thing about the Aussies, they love a winner, the Matilda's winning this competition would be a big deal for the game here. It's already the most participated in I sport but that would mean massive media coverage going forward. Quote
Arrested development Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 (edited) Some of the goalkeeping in this game has been woeful for a world cup quarter final. Edited August 12, 2023 by Arrested development Quote

England's was a bit shite, but you could perhaps partly blame it being a mis-hit cross. Colombia's GK error was unforgivable though 😬 Quote

Quite liked the fairy tale story of the Reggae girls as well. Hope they get more support back home and that you're back out and about soon as well. 👍 13 minutes ago, Arrested development said: Some of the goalkeeping in this game has been woeful for a world cup quarter final. So many aspects of the women's game have improved over such a short period of time. The goalkeeping has still been really woeful though. The Swedish keeper has been the best I've seen. Quote
jayjayoghani Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Went to Nigeria game and loads of Aussies in crowd supporting Nigeria so they can get to fuck. And hopefully they will on Wednesday. Quote
athywhite1958 Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Nice to see them swapping shirts at the end of the game 🤪 Quote
Underpants Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 (edited) This morning my 3 grandsons got up early to watch the Aus/Fra game. And when we were in the car later they wanted to listen to the England/Colombia match. They are not yet poisoned by rivalry. Hate and misogyny. They just love football. And hopefully they will on Wednesday. I will watch the next England game. First game I will have bothered with. Seen enough news snippets to realise that the goalkeepers are still fucking atrocious. All the Aussies we know around here were sticking it to us yesterday with "Come on Colombia" etc. We are used to it. I have not forgotten tens of thousands in Wallaby shirts wearing France baseball caps at the RWC semi final between us and the frogs. Not really arsed about women's football (but delighted that females everywhere seem to be highly enthused about the world game these days. Good luck to them) but this is different. Win to shut the fuckers up or it will be unbearable here for a while. The fuckers still sing (out of tune of course) about the 3-1 friendly win under 'unaware' Sven. "Matilda's" now shortened to 'the Tillies'. Not sure which label is worse. Not keen on any of these Americanised labels but at least 'Lionesses' conjures up some sort of aggressive intent. "The Tillies'? Shitting ourselves. Quote
