Perhaps on re-reading my post it’s sounds a little over dramatic but we need all the support we can get down there.

I’ll be at the next few aways anyway.

I get what you're saying; but that support was screwed over somewhat by the late change of date.

I don’t go to many aways these days ,used to go everywhere back in the day from the late sixties. After a chat with a few mates last week int local we’ve now got 2 car loads going and stopping over ,it’s just one of those games when they definitely need that vocal support and to say I was there . Agree - fair play to all.

Toyed and toyed with it but the only option I had was Dave’s double decker.

Trying to calculate how much I could have to drink when I would be driving back home around 3AM was too much……

Sad I know but I ain’t travelling 10 hours and not having a drink & I have a Uni run on Tuesday too so staying over was not really an option.

Should really be going but that’s my excuse anyway…..

I’m really disappointed in myself that I’m not going.

Get the same feelings most aways.

Cant be helped like but it kills me not taking the lads everywhere like my Dad did me :(

Hopefully work/life balance a bit better in the new year.

When we don’t get those feelings it’s time to stop.

We should be grateful that BWFC continues to mean so much to us as we’re getting older 👍🏻

Massive blow to Pompey having Colby Bishop out for a month or two - he's absolutely their main man when it comes to goalscoring. Yengi will probably play up top if they stick with 4231 but he is quick, albeit unproven.

That said Bishop's absence might turn out to be a blessing in disguise for them as instead of playing everything through Bishop they'll be forces to attack in different ways and they have the talent to do it including Kamara on loan from Norwich, Saydee and Lane. They're very good from set pieces too.

We'll have to be on form.

Theyve just won there last two away games without him, they also have their captain back after being sent off against Blackpool. Tough game, with or without him. Would be really happy with a point, ecstatic  if we win, we are capable on current form.

If anyone's driving, Pompey fans are saying that the Council are planning to close Eastern Rd - one of the main routes out of the city - from 8 pm on Monday - so no problem getting there but likely delays after the match.

Just go on the bus then, they'll be fine. :)

After we lost at Shrewsbury exactly a year ago, top 9 was:

Ipswich, Plymouth, Sheff Wed, Barnsley, Bolton, Peterboro, Derby, Pompey, Wycombe.

End of season it was exactly the same except Plymouth and Ipswich swapped places.

That's us nailed on for the title then.

It’s all bunching up. 6 points cover the top 6. Granted we have games in hand over the majority and in some cases 2 or even 3. Derby 3 points off us whilst being generally shite.

if we don’t get out of this league even as far to say automatically as a minimum we never will.

A bit negative on here tonight.

With the exception  of Barnsley, we've not lost to any of these chasing teams, winning the majority with a couple of draws.

Still loads of games between all the top teams to come.

Have we played Barnsley? Only thought we lost to bottom 6 teams😂

Probably not have a better chance given the teams that came down last year (point deductions included)

Agreed.  Looking at the teams that are likely to come down from the championship, and up from L2, next year's L1 looks like its going to be much tougher to get out of than this or last year.
