It would be disappointing not to win.

The Derbyshire derby on Monday, and as much as County will be big favourites, you just never know.

Getting a win just puts a little more pressure on them beforehand too.

Burton got a new manager today so that's at least a point for them in his first game (hopefully).

Score early and all good.    The longer the game goes on without us scoring won't be good for anybodys ticker.

Confident of a 3-0

I want an early goal as much as the next fan, but the Burton and Blackpool games were definitely better 2nd halves than a couple of the games we scored early in (Northampton/Orient).  We went to sleep after H-T in those and they went really flat.

I won't be concerned if its level at H-T, just as long as we aren't behind and we have 11 on the pitch, we'll find a way to win.

Whilst it's not good for the blood pressure the probing approach Evatt favours does work for us.

Admittedly I'd rather thump teams 4 nowt every week but results show not to get too worked up if it's 0-0 at half time.

This won’t be as easy as the table suggests.

They have improved massively since early season.

We should win but the crowd have a massive part to play in these type of games as IE often alludes to.

It’s easy to rock up singing when full of ale at an away game but these games against small teams with no support are when you’ve got to really motivate yourself to get behind the team.

They've done extremely well really, they didn't score a single goal in their first 11 league games

Beat Pompey last time out.

These next two arent easy

But, we ought to win as weve got a fucking good team

Im more wary of Orient not least cos they know its in their interest to come at us and they know they have the players to hurt us

Anyway, lets get past these first

No away games are easy but with the exception of Pompey we are grinding out win after win on the road which is impressive.

Win on Sat and take a point @ Orient and it keeps up the two points a game ratio. We can’t become too greedy/unrealistic.

Teams rarely keep winning away systematically as Pompey have recently shown & that makes it imperative that we have no more slip ups at home against lowly teams.

There are a run of fixtures coming up when the top 7 do not play against each other that much. It becomes even more important that we beat the teams we 'should beat' and certainly no silly defeats. Teams will drop points but we could easily win next three and not open up a gap.

Going to be very tense. Ins and outs in transfer window plus injuries might make the difference. Legohead I think is on 9 bookings, one off a two match ban.

We have got to start this game like a house on fire, get the job done early and in the 1st half.

Would still need a rail replacement to get to the ground 😃

Cheltenham have improved & yes beat Portsmouth last time but just like Fleetwood they ain’t in the bottom 3 for nothing but they certainly wont be a push over

February is a massive month coming up without any additional cup games we simply can’t afford silly slip ups, like above win Saturday and draw at orient is fine

2-0

They've pretty much become a mid table side since Clarke took over. Tight 2-1 win.

Correct.

5-0 is only 28/1

so will probably put £3 on instead of £1

Are we building Cheltenham up just a bit too much here? They may have improved under a new manager and Pompey may have slipped up as we did against Carlisle but after Wednesdays display against Fleetwood I genuinely believe this team has learned how to win both well and ugly. I don’t think, especially after Carlisle, that we’ll take anybody lightly so I’m sure the boys will know exactly what they need to do tomorrow and I just think we’ll be too good for them and complete a pretty comfortable 2-0 victory which could see us top at five o’ clock? 😉

Who played Fleetwood Wednesday?

Cheltenham have improved, they’re 10th over the last 15 matches… we’re 1st

We’ll win. 3-0. Charles, Vic, Dempsey

0-0

As if anyone would build our opposition up too much on here.

Don't care as long as it's a win. Would settle for a scrappy 1-0 right now.
