We have spent the most on transfers this season, hope that helps!

You do know a budget covers more than just transfer fees?

Whats our budget?

Really don’t know what to make of all that. First half looked like a load of strangers plonked together and sent out. Bonus of scoring first but too soon pegged back and then going in a half time behind. Seemed like second half they’d all been introduced to each other at half time and played some decent footy but we still had to scrape a draw. Summat’s got to seriously change, and soon. Happy clapper in me says don’t be surprised if we suddenly go on a run again. Lucky at the moment that others around keep failing to take advantage of our failings and we still control our destiny

Think Wenger did an interview once and said summat about players being over coached and it meaning they end up not wanting to or being able to make a decision on the pitch and Coleman is a prime example of it for me. Decent keeper but is hamstrung by how he is expected to play.

There's others who suffer the same because when we attack quickly (passing wise not 9 iron) we will score against anyone at this level but constantly slowing attacks down to take extra time and touches makes it miles harder for the players we have.

Quite clear Coleman doesn't feel comfortable playing from the back and the back line are not moving into space for him..

Again, you will no more than me, but transfers paid plus wages, normally amounts to similar as to what teams pay in our league

Here we go then.

FFS score first and early.

BTW condolences Desperado

Scoring 1st is so overrated 😀  Carlisle another where it was all good early on and we conceded 3.  And 2 or 3 up v Northampton and Orient but very poor 2nd halves.  There's no magic formula, just need to play well better than the opposition for the majority of the 90 minutes! (and keep 11 on the pitch).

I have no idea what the budgets of each club are.

But you’ve made a statement saying ours is the biggest in the league, so I’m simply assuming you have the numbers?

you clearly know. You’ve said so.

Enlighten us.

You just cant lose the spine of your team and expect to crack on.

Our defence without Santos scares me to death it really does.

....however we didnt get beat and are clearly struggling. Get through this patch not getting beat as we are and get our men back we will be fine.

I love Evatt and Im a happy clapper all day long but Ill never, ever understand why he put Jerome on today. Took all the momentum we had out of the game.

Why cant our forward players play 90 mins?

Why cant we just stick with it?

I stated we have spent more on transfers than any other team in our league this season, self explanatory really!

Baxter in plaster and will be assessed in 3 weeks ,  his replacement is bobbins and will cost us games.

Santos back for Blackpool.

Currently drinking heavily .

Been an awful lot of change in that squad lately and it showed today, especially in the first half. We weren't cohesive.

Dempsey and Maghoma were the bright spot today. Both very energetic and dynamic. All three of our goals very well worked.

I thought Charlton's goal owed as much to luck as poor defending, their second was pure poor defending and the third could easily never have happened had the ref stopped the game for the injury.

Bit unlucky overall but we're certainly not looking as good as a few weeks OK.

My eye is creeping towards Blackpool and Wigan away and I hope we buck up for then.

No

you said we have the biggest budget in the league

All I’m asking is for you to elaborate on the figures for each club.

otherwise you’re just making shit up

Trouble is in this shitty league, they come to our Gaff and think lets teach these these wannabes where they really are, and they regularly do.

Pi** weak and have been for years.

Budget as in transfers! It really sad you cant understand that, bless!

Does the budget have anything to do with our 3 best players being out today?

For an neutral, an extremely exciting game of football.

From a Wanderers perspective there's certainly lots of things to consider, and like most draws we've had at late, there's factors that could sway to either the 2 points dropped or solid point gained perspective.

It's always going to be frustrating considering our rivals won and we didn't. However, I'm trying to think more positively at the bigger picture.

Charlton have got quality in their squad and a new high calibre manager. Ill be shocked if they don't do us a favour in either the derby or Pompey games coming up for them.

We've got a strong squad, but you can't take account for missing the likes of Santos, Thomason, Baxter and now Charles. All to return soon.

Regardless we completely dominated the game today, Charlton have punished us with 3 horrendous defensive mistakes. We played some great football and scored some fantastic goals.

We're still in a fantastic position and although we've got plenty of tough games to come, I can only see the squad getting stronger.

There's more pressure now on us to win our games in hand, personally I think we can forget about Pompey for now, they'll probably go up as champions but lots of games still go come.

Focus on each game at a time, starting with our crucial game in hand against Cambridge, Tuesday, we have to go and win that game. Will then go joint 2nd with our games in hand still.

Derby have Barnsley away on Saturday and are without any strikers.

Still in our hands.

Ffs.

I know folk say other teams get injuries blah, blah, blah but I don't give a shit about other teams.

We have absolutely the worst injury luck ever.

It's never a bit part player and it's never just for a game or two.

Fuck me 🤦‍♂️

Nowt.

We’re pulling points outta nowhere at times

There is one game in 25 when ya score 3 at home and don't win. Today was that day for the one.

No ones actually mentioned it but we could have easily lost today, with no complaints

The ref should have stopped the game for sure. He couldn’t wait to stop it when their keeper went down time and again.

Say this every week as do others, the standard of officials in this league is shocking and not going to get any better.
